We stayed at SuiteDreams for three nights and will defintely come back again. Pierefrancisco (owner, manager) was very passionate about making you comfortable. He helped us with dinner reservations, tour information, booking transfers and anyting else we needed.

The hotel was just what we expected and exactly like the pictures. Clean rooms, amazing spacious bathrooms, and for Europe the rooms were bigger than we expected. (towels were very comfy) The location was within walking distance of all the great sites in Rome and close to the Metro station if you don't feel like walking. The buffet continental breakfast came with our rate and was more than satisfactory. We loved the Nespresso machine and fresh pastries and cold cuts.

Value for your money.

I don't think I've given a 5 star hotel review here on TA......but this is it.

Pierre was a wonderful owner acting as concierge, local "in the know", and friendly greeter. We were with three couples and all six of us thought this place was great.

It is a small boutiqui hotel, but the rooms are large for europe with new fixtures in the bath, clean white linens and free wifi in each room (or a free computer station if you didn't bring your laptop).

Morning breakfast was basic but with a nice espresso maker.
Location is walking distance from the central station and only a cople hundred feet from the Republica metro stop. 15 min walk to Forum/Colosseum.

Abssolutely will use SuiteDreams for my next Rome trip!

Suitedreams is a small (9 rooms) boutique hotel. It was a bit hard to spot off the street since there's only a small 5" x 10" sign on the front of the building. The hotel is on the second floor, there is no door staff, bellman or porter to meet you or help get your luggage upstairs. There is an old lift so you at least don't have to lug bags up more than a few steps into the building lobby. The front desk clerk was very nice and helpful at check in. He made us a dinner reservation and called a cab. Now the best part, our room was very nice, much nicer than expected. Very large by European standards with a clean, fresh, modern look. Probably a 4+ if not 5 star room.

There is a mini bar in the room with sodas and water but no restaurant or kitchen on site. No room service is availible. So very bare bones on amenities. On our second night the air conditoner in the room broke and the front desk clerk was unable to fix it. After 15 minutes of trying he brought in a portable A/C unit. This would have been fine but in order to use this portable unit the exhaust has to go out the window. This means our window would be wide open (so not sure how well the air would have worked with the window open) The problem was that there's a very loud cafe right below the room so the street noise was worse than the heat. We just had them take the A/C unit away. Nice effort, but not a great solution.

Overall I would recommend Suitedreams because the room was so nice and clean, just be aware not to expect any standard hotel amenities.

Suite Dreams Hotel/B+B absolutely deserves its #1 rating. Stayed for 3 nites as a single in April. Rooms quite comfortable tho not opulent. Breakast quite good. Location fantastic as it's a block away from the Repubblica metro stop on the Orange line and an easy 4 or 5 block walk from the main train/bus station. Pricing is fair. But its principal plus was the staff -- always willing to "take care" of things for you, such as restaurant recommendations and reservations, transit advice, etc. Extremely professional people whose English skills probably exceeded mine. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

If you are looking for a hotel, with restaurant, swimming pool, sauna, business center, etc.. forget it - this is a perfect B&B !

Service is very good and helpful, and will give you nice indications about everything in Rome. Rooms are clean and brand new - what is a big difference comparing to other hotels in Europe in general. Big rooms but no view. The hotel is located in a hidden street close to Piazza Republica, and in the building are other B&B's. We took a cab organized by the hotel and everything was great (and you pay exactly the same fees as any other cab).

Breakfast is good and serves more than usual in Italy. Location is also good, in a safe area, close to Termini station (10 minutes walk, with luggage), 2 blocks from Republica metro station and easy walking to most of attractions in Centro Storico area.

I would recommend this hotel to all, and it will be for sure my next choice for staying in Rome !
