There are many hotels in Rome, especially budget hotels. For 50-80 euros, a double room with breakfast can easily be had. Suitedreams set me back 110e for a double used as a single room. The "hotel" is a portion of one floor of a building located near Termini train station. The place is clean, neat and modern. I was greeted politely and the formalities were quickly accomplished. My room was ample, lacking any furniture other than the bed and a a plastic chair but there was work space against the wall. And there was a fridge (water was free). The bathroom was worn a bit and the door had a fair amount of rust among the bottom. The room is heated by an overhead heater that required instruction (there were no instructions in the room). The place was quiet. Breakfast is super budget. A Nespresso coffee machine makes your daily coffee and it tastes pretty bad. Croissants but no fruit, cake and yoghurt were ample. All in all, it wasn't bad but no bargain. That said, for its proximity to the train station, it is a place i will consider again.
