We just came back from Rome and stayed 5 nights at this small B&B. It is well located, walkable to St Peters if you prefer to be close to there which we did. There are bus stops outside the door which connect to central Rome in about 10 minutes. However the metro is a bit of a hike away. We had two rooms which slept three. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. Although we didn't use it the outside terrace would be an attraction in hot summer months with access direct from the rooms. We found the en suite bathroom a bit cramped especially the shower and there was a shortage of shelf space to put toiletries on and I thought the lights not bright enough for reading in bed. The layout was a bit strange. One of our rooms didn't have an en suite and it was necessary to walk past the table where clients are eating breakfast to get to the shared bathroom.
We were very disappointed with the breakfast - fruit, yoghurt, cakes from packets, jam and bread (but not lovely Italian bread just white sliced processed which we never touch at home! ) The eating area is small and you often feel as if the lady who serves you is standing over you. That said she was very friendly and helpful and there was always plenty of percolated coffee. Our only other problem was that we had wanted to use American express but this wasn't an option. They did accept other credit cards. Although we think improvements could certainly have been made there was nothing so bad that it prevented us enjoying our stay or wishing we had gone elsewhere. Another time I would explore flat rental as an alternative especially as we were off season. It seemed good value from my exploration of other offers at the time of booking.
