Location wise this is spot on, 5 mins to Piazza Navona, Campo Dei Fiori and Castel Sant Angelo. We received a great welcome from Gustav who took the time to explain to us where all the sights were and show us round. All the staff were very friendly and the room was great, much bigger than you'd expect, with fantastic woodne floors and beamed ceilings. Well eqipped with giant LCD TV/ fridge/safe/fruit basket. Plus hob and kettle stowed away in a cupboard, but we didn't need it as there is a complimentary lavazzo coffee machine downstairs. Breakfast could be better, no idea why its called 'english' I cheese and ham followed by a bowl of scrambled eggs?

Word of warning you will need to get a taxi here, fixed price from airport is 30euro (Ciampino) and 40euro (fiumicino) set by the Roma council, but they are con men and will try to charge you 50euro's. Don't pay them a penny more!

Perfect location for all attractions inc Piazzo Neuvo, Vatican etc. Very friendly and helpful staff, all multi linguists. Rooms slightly dark, but this is due to the windows being traditional shuttered from the outside.

If we return to Rome, we will definately be staying here again.

We stayed at this hotel for 4 hights. There are only 6 rooms on three floors. Our room was spacious and stylish (authentical wooden beams on the ceiling, wooden furniture, e t.c.), but a little bit dark since the windows are oriented into inner court . Hotel is located very close to Campo dei Fiori (about 5 minutes by foot) as well as to other Roma attractions (we practically did not use public transport). The only thing is the restaurant close to our windows and it was a little bit noisy at the evenings (after 8 p.m). We will recomend staying at this charming hotel.
