“Authentic Food!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 3, 2013 via mobile

In Rome it is hard to find honest food. Tourist traps probably outnumber good restaurants 7 to 1. This place is one exception. Italians and tourists will eat at this trattoria alike. Wonderful "Caccio e Pepe"! A very nice stop if you happen to be nearby!

“A "must go" when in Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 21, 2012 via mobile

We discovered this quaint restaurant a few years back. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The food was amazing. A couple of Year later we were back in Rome for Christmas and on the hunt for this restaurant. After lots of walking we found it. All 11 of us loved it. Pricey but excellent and very accommodating at the last minute. Try and email me.

“Best meal in Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 8, 2012

We happened upon this place our last night in Rome. We were looking for a meal that did not include pasta--Yes you CAN eat too much pasta! As we looked at the menu the hostess came to persuade us to come in and she was so charming we decided to try it. It was wonderful and she turned out to be quite a talented opera singer who serenaded guests, and as well there was a guitarist and singer. The food was perfect and since we weren't full from too much pasta we even enjoyed wonderful desserts. Only downside was that they charged us $4.50 Euros for the bread basket that we didn't order and was routine in all the other restaurants. We could have done with it had we known.

“fantastic restaurant - singing staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

Went to Rome for a weekend for our works Xmas outing. Had a meal here on our last night which was fab. Sat outside at first in lovely little covered area with plants, fairy lights and patio heaters, but got rained off, so went inside. Glad we did as very cosy and one of the staff sang opera songs. Amazing voice. Lovely and to our trip. Would definately eat here again. Food great quality and reasonable prices.

“Delicious plates & good wine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

The best dishes we have tried during our 7days stay at Rome was in this trattoria, it is not a menu for tourists like around Via Corso, but real roman food, also prices were reasonable (70 EUR for 2) including a bottle of good red wine
