My husband, daughter and I stayed here at Capricci Romani in May 2012. We loved it! It far exceeded my expectations. Our room had a privacy wall and the bathroom was very clean, spotless. The breakfast was hearty and Massimo packed leftovers to take with us for lunch. The location 10 minutes walking distance to the Vatican was fabulous. Massimo was very kind and helpful. He gave us a map, outlined major attractions offered us a pass Wed to see the pope in front of the vatican. Finally he waited for us on our last day and ordered a taxi for us. thank you Massimo for making it a once in a life time trip!

Well, we stayed here in August 2012, the one thing which we will always remember about capricci romani is its awesome breakfast spread, you will definitely not crave for lunch till 2 or 3 in the afternoon ! Its tasty and fills your stomach. The room was small, but cosy and comfortable, the AC worked fine. In any case, if you are travelling in Rome you hardly want to spend the day in the room ! The bathroom was small but very clean. Massimo, the owner, takes care of all your needs, maps, buses, tickets, better tourist attractions, nice places to eat ... you name it ! Very satisfactory exprience, and Vatican was just a 7-10 minute walk .... Highly recommended !

We stayed last week at Capricci Romani and these are our thoughts:

1) Location: The **most** excellent. I can not emphasize enough that there is no better location. A few very short blocks from St. Peter's and the Vatican, and very close walking distance to most major attractions. Massimo, the owner, took plenty of time and drew a "walking map" on a Rome map for us. He circled our destinations, along with a few he suggested. This was PERFECT. We had street by street instructions - these made our trip wonderful!
** The location was perfectly safe, close enough for ease of arival wherever we wanted to go, just far enough to avoid the noise and crowds of Rome.

2) Facilities: The B&B was just what we required. Massimo does not try to state this is "fancy," but it is clean, nice, and felt wonderfully "Roman." We LOVED the little elevator to get to our room. We slept very well, and had no complaints.

3) Breakfast: Massimo had breakfast every morning for us consisting of bread, cheese, pastry, and meat - typical Roman fare. Best of all - he offered American coffee, expresso, or our daily choice - cappucino - and we had 2 each morning :))

4) Assistance: Having Massimo was like having a brother who knew the city well. We wanted to see St. Paul Outside the Walls (part of the Vatican - but not as close as most attractions). We intended to use the Metro, but Massimo suggested using the bus (which took us to the Termini Station), and then to get the Metro there to St. Paul OTW. It saved time, and the bus ride was wonderful.

We have stayed in Rome before, and paid a LOT more money for similar facilities.

Cappricci Romani is an excellent choice in an excellent location:

*Clean
*Massimo will make sure you have a great time and help you accomplish great visits to many attractions.

We started our trip to Tuscany by staying 2 nights in the B&B. Our flight arrived late and Massimo waited us downstairs. He was very helpful: found parking, helped with baggage and showed in the map all main attractions and local places to have lunch and dinner.
The room was very clean and spacious. He also provided us baby-coat for our baby.
We could reach easily all attractions walking 10-15 minutes that was very comfortable for us.
The final conclusion that this is very good and not so expensive B&B to stay.
This is our first time we stay in B&B and we have very positive impression about overall.
We would definitely recommend it to everyone.
