“A proper roman holiday..”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

We stayed at Romeo's B&B for three nights in September. The B&B was spotlessly clean and romeo was an exceptional host, offering us lots of tips and advice for our time in roma and the home made cakes he brought along each day were very scrumptious to say the least.

The b&b is excellently located for the vatican and getting across to central rome and trastervere was fairly easy using the bus routes romeo gave to us.

Overall the b&b offers great value for money and when we're next thinking of going to roma romeo's will be the first choice for our stay.

I stayed two nights. The room was immaculate, off the street, and very quiet. The bed was comfortable. The accommodations, including very tasty homemade breakfast cake and basic breakfast provisions of yogurt, cereal, coffee, tea, juice, milk, came at a price perfect for my
modest pocket book. Romeo was an angel. Like a friend, he encouraged exploration and offered very useful information in fluent English in getting around Rome and where to go. Highly recommended!

We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Rome. It is located in a residential area within just 5 minutes’ walk from the main entrance to the Vatican , within walking distance to most of the sites. The home is very nice, and our room was very comfy with free Wi-Fi .

Romeo & Bibi were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for meals and sightseeing.

We had a very goed place at this B&B. Good location for the conference in the Hilton hotel (20 min walk). Romeo gave us a lot of good information about Rome and very good tips! Every day homemade cake and every morning a good breakfast.

This really is a great place to stay in Rome. The neighborhood is great and not touristy even though it is a 15 minute walk to the Vatican. Getting to all the absolutely mind blowing historical sites in this city is easy from here. The apartment itself is very nice, clean and most importantly, has air conditioning. I arrived at the place a sweaty mess. Summer in Rome is no joke. Romeo helped us with our bags, took us into our room and said "Greg, let me show you the most important thing, the air conditioning." It was so beautiful, I almost cried a little. He then sat us down in the kitchen and went through a map of the whole city with us, telling us which busses to take, what restaurants to eat at etc...(follow his restaurant recommendations they were amazing.) Then he gave us a cake that his wife made, which was still warm and gooey. And delicious. Comfy bed, nice but smallish bathroom. There is a great market across the street, locals selling fresh fruit and meat and cheese and bread. Awesome.
My only complaint was a slight miscommunication about arrival time. I confirmed it with him 3 weeks prior, and he also confirmed via email. I arrived and had to call him to come let me in. He said he didn't know when I was coming. No big deal. From the looks of the reviews on here, this sort of thing doesn't happen very often. He is a great host, and a nice guy. I would stay there again and I would definitely recommend it to anyone. Just make sure to confirm your arrival time a couple days prior :)
Thanks, Romeo!

We stayed At Bibi e Romeo's Home for a very long weekend in the beginning of August. The air-conditioning was great, the room was spacious, clean modern, great on-suit bathroom. The Hosts were amazing! Thank you Romeo for your recommendations and quick answers to all of our questions. Thank you Bibi for the great cakes every morning. There are four Bedrooms - two facing the main street, and two facing the courtyard.
Right across the street there is a great food market you should take advantage of.
We will definitely stay here again next time we visit Rome.
