It is difficult to envision a more fantastic hotel for a sightseeing enthusiast in Rome. It is roughly a 20 minute walk from the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Del Poppolo, the Pantheon and about a 25-30 minute walk from The Colosseum, Victor Emanuel's monument and the Vatican. It's less than a 7 minute walk from Termini and is two minutes from Basilica de Santa Maria Maggiore. Atop all of this, the hotel itself is beautiful, there is a wonderful patio area to enjoy your breakfast or just a drink before dinner. The rooms were spotless and the cleaning staff were incredibly considerate and went so far as to roll up my travel companion's electronic cables and such and the general staff at the hotel were incredibly helpful and friendly. My only criticism is that the breakfast food itself wasn't so great, but it wasn't by any means poor. The hotel is also about a 20 minute walk or so from a surplus of authentic Roman cuisine, though if you are an enthusiast of ethnic food there is a wealth of fantastic East Asian restaurants and a few Ethiopian restaurants. Overall it's simply a splendid hotel that I will undoubtedly stay at again when I return to Rome.
