When we were due to catch the Circumvesuviana train from Pompeii to Sorrento, we returned to the hotel to get a taxi to the station. Alessandro, the staff member helping us, found out that there was a train strike. He then tried to find us a taxi to Sorrento, but when this failed went out of his way to help us by contacting a friend who drove us there (in his open topped car!) for an agreed, reasonable amount.

Getting to the hotel from the Circumvesuviana train on foot was complicated as we got off at the wrong station (Pompeii Scavi) - perhaps the hotel could give clear instructions on what train to get from Naples and what station to get off at.

Otherwise, the hotel was perfect and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

We stayed for 3 nights as a base for seeing archaeological sites around Naples. Getting to the hotel from the Naples central train station was an adventure. In spite of great directions from the hotel, the staff at the station's tourist info and at TrenItalia couldn't provide us with sufficient info/directions to find the correct train/track. Our room was on the 1st floor of a building next door to the main building. The room size was average with a stand-up cabinet for a closet and a good size bathroom with a nice shower and toilet+bidet. The complimentary Wi-fi wasn't available in the room, but there was good reception in the lobby & hotel garden. The staff (Claudia & Alessandro) were enthusiastic, friendly and extremely helpful. They helped us plan our daily activities with detailed directions and train time tables. With their assistance, getting to Naples (National Archaeological Museum & L'Antica Pizzaria Da Michele), Ercolano (Herculeum), Pasteum and Sorrento was very smooth. We really enjoyed the breakfast everyday. The hotel is in the city of Pompeii which is small & quaint with the archaeological site, a large church, and many souvenir stands - even a Carrefour market. Many restaurants nearby are filled with locals. We really liked the pizza restaurant (Jerome Pizza) across street. Overall, it was our favorite hotel during our 2 wk trip. We would definitely stay again!

The place is ran (or at least it appears to be so) by a bunch of young(er) people who are very enthusiastic about what they do. They all speak english and are alwaysa eager to help - no matter with what. Whether it is your AC in the room or to tell you what is the place to visit in Naples. I would recommend it to all. If I ever come to Pompeii again (and this was my second time), I am staying here again!

This is a lovely oasis in the middle of a very busy city. I think for Pompei, it is pretty nice but it is just not a 4 star hotel. We didn't actually have any difficulty parking. Staff was extremely professional and courteous. The bar service was great - but there are no snacks offered. The room was clean and we had a little veranda but it is literally right next to the street. If you open your veranda doors the air conditioning goes off so didn't use that much . Breakfast was nice. But the main problem is the hard as a rock bed. I've seen reviews saying its "firm" and I chuckle because if you sit down on this bed very hard you're going to get a bruise. We sat in the courtyard several times and thoroughly enjoyed that. Cost of this hotel was very reasonable. We would stay again if in Pompei.

We stayed one night on our way back from the Amalfi coast. This hotel was ok, the lobby and courtyard were great, a nice quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle of the street. The breakfast was good, a higher quality than most in Italy. The staff was nice, and since there was no fridge in our room, they were happy to keep some things cold for us overnight at the bar.

The room we stayed in was why this hotel is only average. It reminded us of a hostel, the beds were hard and it was extremely small. It was located right off of the lobby with a window to the side alley that made it very noisy. The walls were beat up and desperately needed painting. It sufficed for one night but we wouldn't stay here again.

Room Tip: Not sure what the other rooms look like but I would request something on the upper floors.

We arrived at night and missed our turn off but found the hotel eventually without much trouble. The parking was safe and easy but I wouldn't like to have a bigger car! The staff were incredibly helpful with restaurants and train times and they were always friendly. Breakfast was pretty good. We had fresh fruit - plums, nectarines, pears, oranges, apples; beautiful croissants and good cappuccino. The beds were firm and the room small but very clean and comfortable. The location was very close to the town centre and restaurants but a long way from the main entrance to the ruins which is where the meeting place for guides is situated. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Room Tip: It is lovely to sit in the garden, have a drink and read after a busy day's sightseeing.

After arriving on an over-night flight from Canada via Munich to Naples, we quickly located this wonderful little hotel. We found the staff to be extremely pleasant and helpful. We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the attractions we wanted to visit, plus the free on-site parking, and the fact restaurants were within walking distance. We were only staying here one night, in order to visit Pompei the following morning (10 min. walk,) and then Mt. Vesuvius in the afternoon. After talking to the hotel staff, it was suggested that if the weather was clear in the morning, that it would be best to climb Vesuvius first. This is what we did, and the weather was clear. We returned to the hotel to park the car while we toured Pompei. Sure enough, the weather changed, and Vesuvius was engulfed in cloud in the afternoon, and it rained just after we finished Pompei, so it is possible Mt. Vesuvius may have been closed. We needed the hotel staff to park our car twice and get it out onto the street for us as the parking was very tight to say the least. Always done with a smile. The breakfast was simple but adequate, the room while not large was clean and more than adequate, and the little garden / patio was great for a nice cold beer when we arrived. You won't go wrong staying here.
