The best thing about this hotel (its not a resort) is Ornella Gramagwa. She works tirelessly morning noon & night. We arrived late after a long flight & train trip, checked in to a delightful room & were told we told by the male receptionist we could eat in their restaurant. Had a drink in their garden patio only to be told the restaurant was closed. Ornella hustled around & told us we could have a grilled fish platter which was fine with us but she actually cooked herself - far beyond her call of duty. Earned high marks for service!
It's not a short walk from the station with luggage on rough pavement & dark streets. Certainly a hike to the ruins so we made use of the free shuttle bus. I believe this is offered because they know just how far it is. Inexpensive is the key!
