“The place to stay in Naples”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 30, 2012

Everything about this hotel just suits me perfectly. I love the location, near the university, all the bookstores, the churches, everything you might want to see. It's not far from the train station, by taxi (€10.50) or Metropolitana, and from there you can get everyplace else, from Pompei to Salerno or Sorrento. I like the cool design of this hotel. The staff is great. The breakfast is very good. I've never had a noisy room, and although I see some people have found it noisy, the neighborhood is actually quite quiet at night -- unless something unusual is going on. It's always perfectly clean and comfortable.

Managed to get good rate for 2 nights stay in Oct recently. We expected a basic room, but were surprised when there is free toiletries provided and the room is spacious (terrace room) even with a baby cot. The room is clean and bright. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a decent view of Naples although we are not facing Mt Vesuvius. Breakfast spread was average though.

Hotel location is good. It costed Eur15 for taxi to the hotel from the main train station. National Archaeological Museum is within 5-10mins walk and a 30mins stroll down Via Toledo (shopping street) gets you to the sea. The hotel is near an university but it was quiet at night. Some people might be concerned at how quiet and dark the surrounding area is at night but with normal travelling precautions, we felt quite safe walking back to the hotel.

Will definitely stay at this hotel again next time we visit Napoli.

The hotel is situated in the old town, very close to well known pizza houses, at a walking distance of shopping areas. The staff helped me very gently for my on-line boarding card and for calling taxis with every precautious details possible. The garden which serves as lobby is fantastic. I hope that you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: I had a room at the 6th floor with a terrace; I felt privileged.

Stayed Nov 2012. Fantastic hotel. Clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Rooms are clean, modern and everything you need. I had a terrice room and it had lovely veiws and great to sit out.
Its right in the middle of the old town, the only bit of Naples city worth walking around. Some say its not safe to walk around but I found it fine, use your common really, dont be an obvious target, as with all citys just watch your money, camera and its fine....lovely people.......and the Pizza!!!....wow!!.
Lots to see and do all in walking distance. Do some reaserch before you go so you dont miss out, some really interseting places are so well hidden. The undergroud catacombes and the Fontanelle cemetery are well worth a look also take the train to Pompeii, this was the second time there for me and i still find it amazing.

We arrived in Naples from Rome by car. The SatNav got us to Piazza Bellini and we were delighted with the hotel and our room. Driving in Naples of course is a nightmare, the night before, in Rome, we choose to reside outside Rome and commuted in. The recommended car park (500m away) is underground and 25 Euros for the night. All that has been said is correct; clean, modern, superb room, very helpful reception. But, it is very noisy. Breakfast is good if the breakfast room is a little tight. Overall recommended.

Room Tip: A lot of neighbourhood noise. Higher is probably better.

Oct 2012, two nights
Very lovely hotel, feels like a "boutique" hotel. Modern decor.
Clean, great bathroom, friendly staff, very nice breakfast. The location was perfect for the Archaelogical Museum, about a 5 minute easy walk.
We had a beautiful (5th floor), private terrace which overlooked the city. There were some nice patio loungers as well as a small bistro table and chairs, allowing you to relax in comfort.
The only negative was no wi-fi in the room but there was wi-fi near the front desk/lobby. We had an iPad so did not inquire about cable internet.
Would definitely recommend

Stayed at this Hotel for two nights over a weekend visiting Naples and Pompeii. The Hotel is next to Piazza Bellini and is ideally placed to visit the nearby sights of Naples on foot as well as the other areas of Naples. There are plenty of good Pizza Restaurants near the Hotel and plenty of shops to buy snacks, drinks etc. There is a gated entrance to the Hotel and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The Breakfast room is just across the Courtyard and there is a fairly good choice of food available.
Although nothing to do with the Hotel, they ordered a Taxi to go to Naples Railway station for us, we were given an idea of what the price would be but it ended up being more on the meter and we were then told by the driver we had to pay extra for the phone call(?). Not the Hotels fault but just beware.
