We arrived at Cicciano expecting it to be a village; instead we were in a busy town and began to think we were in for a bad experience. It took ages and a lot of help to find Il Cortile in a very narrow street, we were becoming seriously disillusioned. Then the door into the garden was opened and we stared into a paradise of peace tranquillity and beautiful gardens: several walled acres of heaven and a beautiful building. The history is fascinating , our hosts were charming and the food and service were great. One of the best places we have ever stayed.
Thank you for a beautiful experience
