Ok - so I give this place 4 stars because of the relative quality compared to the price. I heard from a number of people that cheap Naples hotels can be absolutely awful and I was, to be honest, expected the worst - I was very very pleasantly surprised to find a lovely hotel, clean, with an ok shower. The area is close to the station (like a lot of the hotels) and so is convenient although the area is somewhat dodge. That said, I never felt unsafe getting to the hotel and certainly it was no worse locationwise than some 4 star hotels in the area. I would definitely recommend it

A comfortable hotel that is in a very central position, not far from the station and a lot of downtown Napoli. Nice breakfast, which includes a freshly made coffee. Room was large, cable TV and had a balcony to let you see the happenings of Napoli. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Hotel is located between two streets, very nice and helpful staff, speaking English, tasty morning coffe, clean towels every day. Do not be afraid of the place, Im woman, traveled alone and felt safe there. For single travelers, I suggest, however, choose a double room, you will definitely feel better.

Room Tip: Definitely choose double and big room! My single room was a little bit uncomfortable.

The hotel is in Via Nolana 35, very close to the main station in one direction and the old town in the other. It is located in a run-down area, which is quite off-putting at first (but which seems typical of Naples when you look around), but the hotel itself is clean and comfortable. The bedroom was quite spacious with a small balcony (interesting views of the street and tenements!), the air-conditioning is OK, and the shower wasn't the best in the world but quite adequate. Staff are friendly, but apart from one gentleman, their English was very limited. Breakfast consisted of tea/coffee and croissants. Ideal location to catch a train down to Herculaneum and Pompeii.

We arrived with a bit of trepidation, based on the appearance of the area around the station. However, it soon became apparent that this was just how Naples is! The hotel rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well, but was rather un-adjustable. i.e. 'on' or 'off'. It kept us cool, which was good. The soft hum of the aircon also blotted out some of the street noises. Bathroom had a small shower which was a tad awkward to adjust but served its purpose. Wifi worked in the breakfast area only (as advertised). It would be good if they could extend it to work in the rooms. The biggest disappointment was the breakfast, which was rather limited. This was surprising as there is a market less than 100 metres away that sold fresh bread, fruit etc. We bought our packed lunches of bread, cheese, salami and fresh fruit here. So for a few cents more they could have done great things at the hotel... The coffee was good, though. Staff were very heIpful and friendly throughout.
All in all - a very comfortable stay, and would happily come back.

First of all, the location is not the best in Naples, but for the price that you pay, it would be hard to get any better, the neighbourhood is a bit shady and not very quiet, during the night. As for the hotel itself, the bedding was terrible, but the room was actually OK and big enough, there was an A/C which was useful. As for the WIFI, unfortunately it is only available on the ground floor. The breakfast wasn't too bad, but not good either, the staff was mostly nice and helpful, but one of them not so honest, we were told the taxi to the airport was going to cost a certain amount that turned out to be 40 per cent more expensive at the end.

if you like to feel a real atmosphere napoletana, here you have an opportunity. not too far from the central train station, close to the old city, Vomero, Michele, Attanasio, the market, the mozzarella paradise...do not expect luxury accommodation but a place to stay for the night or two while you enjoy Napoli. People are friendly and open to information like everywhere in Naples. Cheap, valuable for his position and accommodating
