Easy to find, just up an alley off Toledo. First impressions of the waiter might rub you the wrong way, but stay with it, he's a nice guy and soon enough he'll crack his statue like expression to give you a cheeky smile. We went twice in two nights;
The first night we had eaten lots of Neapolitan pizza, so we only had pasta. Gnocchi with mozzarella and linguine with mussels, delicious! Admittedly the gnocchi is quite rich, only order if you're a cheese fiend. The linguine was so good we both got it the next night, simple garlic olive oil coats the al dente pasta, a mountain of mussels in their shells sits atop and it is all so very fresh and tasty,
We also had a very impressive antipasto, 12 plates of various goodies. I especially liked the oysters that tasted as though they were caught earlier in the day, bruschetta that bursts with tomato goodness and the buffala mozzarella with prosciutto! We also had wine, water and dessert and somehow they kept our bill under €50! Nothing to fault and highly recommended, you'll have a better time if you give Italian a go as the menu is oral only. Enjoy!
