I stayed at this hotel as it was a last minute trip an dthere was not very much available.
The hotel is definitely not a four star hotel having said this it was not as bad as expected having read other reviews.
Rooms are old with modern touches, LCD TV.
The minibar is poor, but the room and bathrooms are clean.
Breakfast was not great but having said all of this for the price it was ok.
70€ all included

Well they seem to advertise themselves as a 4 star hotel. But it clearly deserves not even a single star. I booked it thru a travel website for my travel to France and Italy. And after having stayed in some maginificient hotels across the two countries, it was such a pity to have selected this one. More so as it was the last stop on our tour. Bailed out of the hotel within 2 hours.

It is situated way out of the city centre, has all the amenities that a village hut will provide and staff is discourteous to say the least. Such a shame to have this hotel in what is otherwise a very charming city.

We booked into this hotel after a flight was cancelled. The TimeOut book said it was a 4 star oasis from the madness of the city below, and I can see that some of your reviews say the same. But we were left disappointed.

It feels like a pretty average 2 star hotel, not the 4 stars billed. Pretty ordinary faded decor, out-dated furnishings in the rooms, basic slightly uncomfortable bed, etc. The walls are too thin, so you get to hear some of your neighbour's morning ablutions, as well as the odd plane overhead. The staff were OK, but happier to say 'non' than 'certainly sir' (or whatever that is in Italian). And breakfast was pretty poor.

The hotel's only merit is cheap internet access, a point I am currently making the most of as I write this review...

We had an early flight out of the Naples airport and spent the night in this hotel. The staff were very helpful and treated us very, very well. We ate dinner in the restaurant, which was good, although the wine was a bit expensive. The hotel is quiet. Our room was very big, very clean and with a fabulous bathroom. The hotel grounds are a lovely garden that we walked in after our meal. If you are looking for a quiet, clean place to stay near the airport, I recommend this hotel. FYI we got a taxi, easily, at 6 in the morning (the deskstaff called one for us and it arrived in ten minutes).

The location is NOT central, but after check-in we took a single bus to dowtown and foud it very easy.

Expect to pay 15-20 euros to taxi from the station to this hotel.

  • Liked — the peace and quiet
  • Disliked — pricey wine in restaurant

The hotel is a modern place set in it's own gardens close to the Capodimonte park. Also reasonably near to the Autostrada exit, so approx. 10 - 15 minutes drive from the airport.

A bit tricky to find the first time as its down a rather narrow street off the main road up the Capodimonte hill. There is a signpost, but keep your eyes open for it. Parking is guarded.

The bedroom was large & clean, although the bathroom (as in so many slightly older Italian hotels) was on the 'just adequate' size. Huge balcony (I mean 'huge') overlooking the gardens. Would have been great for sitting out on in warmer weather.

Breakfast in a kind of garden room, which is probably quite nice in the summer. Rather limited choice from the self-service buffet.

Large dining room with prompt service & reasonable food. Only thing was that the hotel was virtually empty at the start of the season & the few guests who ate in were outnumbered by staff. This made the place slightly off-putting. Could well be totally different in the summer high season. I didn't see any places to eat near the hotel, although I didn't look that hard.

Depending upon your point of view the hotel location is either good or bad. The plus point is it's near the motorway so good for touring around the Naples area & for visiting Capodimonte. However not so good if you want to go downtown, as unless you want to drive (probably not a good idea), you would have to use a taxi there & back.

There is a bus service from the main road, but this involves a 5 - 10 minute walk through a rather run-down area. This is probably safe but I would ask at the hotel just to be sure!

  • Liked — Large room & huge balcony, Quiet.
  • Disliked — A bit cold in the room, but the weather was terrible!
  • Tips/Secrets: — Keep an eye out for the sign to the hotel
