“Two days in napoli”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 8, 2013

Travelled to Napoli by train, had no difficulty finding the hotel, is is well located near the harbour, with good access to restaurants, the reception staff were able to organise a day tour to Pompeii and Erculeum. Staff also organised taxi for travel to the rail station. Would recommend this accommodation

Located near the Castle and Port. We came to watch Giro D'Italia which was great ! We had a standard room which was adequate but faced onto main very noisy street, so it would have been nice to have known this prior to booking as we may have gone for a room at the rear which we assume were the deluxe rooms albeit they are the same size. Very reasonable selection for breakfast and a nice view on balcony if you wish. Nice to have a kettle in the room but only provided ONE PAPER cup ! Asked for another which was not provided until next day and yes still paper ! Reception not very responsive and slow check out. Had to smile paying the City tax at €3 per night per person as if this goes towards cleaning the streets then we did not see any evidence of this.

Room Tip: Ask for one at rear

Stayed 2 nights at this hotel over the giro d'italia. We arrived in the evening and the staff seemed organised and friendly.

The room was clean and spacious. We had a room with a balcony over looking the main entrance and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised as there was hardly any noise in the room. We enjoyed the nespresso machine. i also really liked the fact that the mini bar had room to put your own drinks etc. The Bathroom had a good shower and plenty of toiletries. The only gripe with the room was that the wifi signal did not reach the room. It would be great if the hotel could work on this.

Breakfast was great. They had a section of gluten free items - wonderful for travelling coeliacs.

Three great days in Naples seeing the sights. We found the hotel very convenient for getting the bus to Piazza Garibaldi (just get on the R2 directly opposite the hotel) and it saves you a long walk. Also for a stroll from Borgo Marinaro back along the bay to Castel dell Ovo get the R 4 or the 151 which takes you again from near the castle. The receptionists were very helpful and informative when asked. Out the front door and left for about 25m is a useful shop, lovely shopkeeper selling cold beers and water - how convenient after a hot day sightseeing. I booked this hotel in the anticipation of a cold beer on the 3rd floor terrace in the evening...Very disappointed.....Sadly not to be as it is only open to guests at breakfast, so sadly no evening views of the sea and castle. We also weren't aware of the huge excavations either that are taking place between us and the castle creating more traffic chaos than normal. Despite this we had a good 5th floor room with balcony overlooking the busy street which was fascinating, comfortable, very clean and with a good bathroom (no bath) but bidet for hot tired feet! Worth know was the good air con. Breakfast was good with hot food as well as normal cold cereals & pastries, fruit etc. the hotel is quite small and warren like, with 2x lifts, also has a bar which we didn't find particularly inviting so didn't 't use.

Well done Accor, another example of how budget hotels can be built and operated successfully whilst still providing customers with a great experience.

This hotel is extremely well located by the port and within easy walking distance to Naples plazas etc. Secure parking is available close by and good value for money.

Decor, furnishings and fittings are great, room sizes are good and the staff very friendly and helpful. Free WiFi throughout the hotel adds extra value.

Keep up the good work Accor and lets have more of the same.

Highly recommended for short break or business accommodation.

The hotel staff was simply amazing, so very professional and helpful. The rooms large and comfortable, we were in a "privilege" room. Great location within the busy city. Even with the central location room was very quiet with views of the ocean. The mattress could have been much better, a memory foam overlay would have made all things perfect. We were very pleased overall.

Room Tip: Get a Privilege room!
