“Real Italian Restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

Close to Via Toledo, very nice and authentic atmosphere, friendly and skilled waiter and very delicous foods (you must try carbonara spagetti and arabic spagetti-if you like hot-pepper-).

“Good food, very attentive service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 9, 2012 via mobile

After an afternoon of wandering the seafront and streets of Naples my wife and I tucked into this small place hidden in a small alley off via toledo.

The restaurant feels like you are eating in someone elses home, in a good way. Staff is very attentive, wants to show their best dishes and generally will not let you go away unhappy.

As for the food we both felt it could have used a little more flavor but it was not bland. We started with the prosciutto and melon which featured nice, fresh cool melon slices. Followed it with pasta pomodoro and penne arrabiatta, which were healthy sized portions and finished with grilled flank steak. The dishes needed a little salt and pepper to realize their full potential but were otherwise well prepared, with the steak being tender despite a thinner cut.

Out the door for less than 40 euro with tip and generous glassses of house wine. Generally felt we got a much better deal than the places along the sea front or via Santa Maria where hawkers pressure you to come in.

“excellent family run restaurant with friendly staff & great food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012

Found this nice little family run restaurant in an alley way off of Via Toledo in the middle of the day.
We took the special (which was reasonably priced, although it is always best to check before ordering - we have been caught out before) as recommended by a friendly waiter and choose another from the menu - we like to share - and both were fantastic and good sized portions.
The staff were fun, and in a friendly fashion, refused to give us milk with our espresso. I'm sure they would have provided it it we had insisted, but it was just gentle ribbing and they were right for us not to spoil our rich and very strong coffee by watering it down.
It was a charming place, happy & friendly staff and would recommend it.
