“Flawless!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2013

We stayed here for five nights and I can't praise it more highly. The owners Gabriele and Manuela are the perfect hosts and they live on site which is very helpful if you need assistance or advice.
The rooms are gorgeous - modern, beautifully decorated and very, very comfortable. The bathroom was massive with a good sized vanity unit (great for all my makeup and hair tools), a lovely shower with good hot water and water pressure and lots of clean, fluffy towels.
The room even had a small balcony which was high above the street and looked over the grand buildings of the Santa Lucia district.
The breakfast is beautifully presented - but mostly sweet things like croissants, fruit, sfogliatelle and cereals. Some cheese and ham would have been a great addition but this is a minor gripe in the scheme of things.
The wifi was free and fast as was the television - we loved the MTV! - and the location was perfect. You are minutes from Piazza Plebescito, Via Toledo, the historic centre, the port and the beautiful Lungomare waterfront area.
I would not stay anywhere else in Naples - Orsini B&B was perfect.

This B&B was a perfect little paradise in Napoli. It is located in a safe and quiet corner of the city, close to the Marina and an easy walk to via Toledo. The entrance and decor of the room were surprising for a B&B and the place has the feel of a boutique hotel. Gabriele is very helpful with logistics and advice; and the daily breakfast is served in the room and plentiful.

A great B&B in a historic building close to the waterfront with many restaurants and historic center. The building has one of those antique elevators that you only see in the movies. The owner Gabriele is very friendly and helpful and lives onsite. He helped us carry the luggage from the garage. He provides maps for the city and explains all attractions. The units have been nicely remodeled, combining modern artwork with antique furniture, artwork and antique marble flooring, tall ceilings. We stayed in the Ischia room, a large room with closet, mini fridge, safe, table and two chairs. This room has a small balcony and faces a street. Nice bathroom with shower. All very clean and in great condition. AC is very quiet and works well.
Internet is amazingly fast with 40 Mbps down and upload speed.
Breakfast is served by Gabriele and his wife in the morning and is brought into your room on a tea cart. It includes coffee, tea, juice, fruit, yoghurt, croissants and the famous Napoli pastry Sfogliatelle (still warm). We can highly recommend this place and will stay there again if we return to Napoli.
Parking is available about 50 mt away in a parking garage for 15 Euros/day.

Room Tip: Ischia room has small balcony and faces street. Room is large and quiet.

This is a wonderful opportunity to stay in Naples and experience this city which some might say had its problems! The hosts, Gabriele and Manuela, are exceptional. Warm and friendly, they are only too happy to help with maps, timetables and tickets. The breakfast is healthy- cereal, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, tea and coffee. There is a kitchenette where guests are invited to make their own tea and coffee when required. We stayed in the largest room and it was very spacious with two balconies large enough to put a chair on and enjoy some air. One balcony looks to the Bay of Naples. The B&B's location is handy-- a 10 minute walk around the marina will bring you to the Maschio Angionio, the large castle which serves as a parking area to pick up the hop on, hop off bus tours ( go up to the front of the castle ) and the street in front near the marina has a bus stop for buses to the city and railway stn. You can walk into the old city from the accommodation ( 20-30 mins ) and we always felt safe here although people will tell you Naples is not safe. There is a good supermarket and free grocer near the B&B, an ATM and plenty of great restaurants. The walk along the Lungomare is just the next street. Great spot and would highly recommend it.

Room Tip: Choose the largest room although all rooms are generous.

Beautifully furnished large room in upscale area of Naples near coast with nearby restaurants and conveniences. Host and hostess so helpful and proud of Naples history and sights. Breakfast was wonderfully served in our room from an elegant tea cart. We had Capri corner room with small balcony on two sides with one side having side view of bay. Very quiet and best bed of our 3 week trip. Naples has much to offer in historical sights and cultural experiences. Wish we had another day. One word of caution is to be careful on buses. We just made sure our pockets had nothing significant in them and had money securely placed from very talented pick pockets but never felt unsafe during our stay. Would highly suggest Orsini 46.

This B & B is the place to stay in Naples. The hosts, Gabriele and Manuela, are so helpful with directions, bus routes, restaurants, and sites. We stayed here 5 nights in April and loved it. We were in Capri, a very large room with a beautiful Italian tiled bathroom. The breakfasts were great. There are 2 balconies, one with a view down the street of the bay. This area has good, reasonable restaurants and about a 1/2 kilometer walk to the bus stop for old Naples. Would definitely stay here again.

This B&B completely surpassed expectations. The room was large, light, well designed and impeccably clean. The location is great for getting into a town or to the port (we got a boat to Procida which we would highly recommend - it's a beautiful little island and much quieter than Capri). What really made the stay at Orsini 46 was the level of service from Gabriele - he went so far above an beyond what we could have expected from a host. Also, he clearly loved his city and wants his guests to love it too and as a tourist there that is a lovely quality that really enhances the experience. Great value and I can't imagine there is a better option in Naples. I can't recommend this place highly enough.

Also, it's worth adding we really enjoyed Naples itself - we'd heard it had a bit of a bad rep before we went but we didn't have any problems at all or ever feel even slightly uneasy (granted we weren't out late at night but it seems you just have to be sensible, and Gabriele will give you advice about where is best avoided after dark).
