“Terrible service, burned pizza. Avoid.”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

Naples is the home of pizza, and the reasonable prices and wood fired stove in the entrance took us in here.
The interior is basic and a little worn, although our table did have a sea view from the window.
We ordered our drinks and pizza and although our drinks came quickly, we waited for our food.

And waited. And waited. And waited.

Meanwhile, lots of other tables of people had come in, ordered and been served in this time.

Unfortunately I don't speak much Italian, but I spoke politely to the waiter and gestured to my place to ask where our food was. We were told it was 'in the hall way' and would come quickly.

So we waited some more. In retrospect, we should have just got up and left.

When our pizzas eventually arrived, my partner's pizza was badly burned around the edges.

A real disappointment.

“Great sauce!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2013

I went here before a trip to the Archeological Museum and was very pleased with the meal. First, the service was nice and very quick for Italian standards. I was expecting it to be a 1 hour or more meal but we were seated, ordered, and finished eating within 25 minutes. The pizza was delicious and reasonably priced. The sauce was incredible. My pizza had no sauce, but the cherry tomatoes were great. We thought the pizzas looked rather large, but finished them up they were so good!

“Nothing special”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

This restaurant has a good location in historic Naples. The food is adequate, but there is availablity for large parties. You can do better in this neighborhood.

“Avoid it like the plague!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2012 via mobile

A real 'can't be bothered' restaurant. Everything is way too much trouble for them. Possibly the worst caprice ever made, the pizza comes as what they want you to have, not what you ordered. Napoli is full of wonderful pizza but you wouldn't know it from this place. The food and the service can be summed-up in one word: rubbish!
Really people, just don't bother with them, because they won't be bothered for you.

“Friendly service, tasty pizza.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2012

Nice, cheerful restaurant with very efficient service. Ordered two pizzas and asked for a tomato salad, which although it wasn't on the menu, they were happy to prepare. The pizzas were baked in the oven at the entrance to the restaurant. Had the added bonus of a large family group who had hired a local musician, who entertained with his repertoire of traditional Italian songs. Very enjoyable lunch at a good price.
