“Expensive but worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

Fantastic greeting from the owner, lovely setting, very glamorous great food but expensive wine.
If in Capri again would definitely go back.

“Amazing find!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 7, 2013

This place was really a find, since it is so neatly hidden in downtown Capri. Once inside it opens up and has a really nice atmosphere. The food was fantastic! We started with a Burrata which was simply the best one I've ever had. We had been recommended truffled spaghetti, which was not on the menu, but the waiter was happy to prepare that for us. It was jut amazing, delicious! Service was really good and the owner around all the time making sure everything is good. Please do not miss this place if you are ever in Capri!

“Excellent Saturday at 1am, rubbish at 9pm on a tuesday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 3, 2013 via mobile

This place is deserving of both 5* exuberance and 1* dismissal. At 1am on a Saturday night there was regular bacchanalia, underpants flying through the air, occasional deaths through misadventure, fat italians in tight white shirts, hardly a button done up in sight. The food is identical to all the other food in capri, which is miles better than positano, for example, but pretty orthodox. It was marvellously debauched and deserved full marks for providing exactly what it should do.

Then on a Tuesday night it was quiet, dull, and the food quite frankly couldn't carry the mood of an obscure uncle's funeral. I threw my underpants a bit, but not much came back. If you saw only the latter, you would probably dismiss it altogether, but, egads, get along on a Saturday at midnight and give it a whirl

“Lovely”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

This place was originally closed, when we arrived.. (15.30) But due to this Arab family, who had specifically asked for a table during closing time, we could also have a lovely lunch, with beautiful fresh vegetables and crispy delicious pizza :-)

“Skip this one”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 29, 2013

It came highly recommended to us and when we arrived there, we saw walls and walls of pictures of celebrities. Mind you those 1000 or so pictures were all duplicate and triplicates of each other...
We thought it was very tacky! But that's of course not the main focus here, the food is, and it was mediocre at best. We ordered several seafood dishes and they were not very tasty, just ok. Also the service was one of the worst ones we had in all of Italy. We were there for lunch and it was not crowded there at all, so no reason for the waiters not to be around. The waiters were joking among themselves and playing with their iPhones. We waited for 20 min for our waiter to come and take our coffee order and bring us a check. Definitely would never come back nor will I ever recommend this place to anyone. With so many exquisite restaurants around, there are definitely much better alternatives.
