I stayed here for 4 nights in late September 2007. The staff were very friendly, fluent in English, and helpful when asked about touristy things to do about the island.
Although the hotel does not have a resturant, there is a large dining area for the continental breakfast. The breakfast was about the same as other hotel food wise, but the view from the eating area was excellent, as it looked towards the south onto the ocean. Weather permitting, you are also able to eat out on the balcony.
The staff were very kind and gave us alternatives to the high priced resturants that lined the most popular streets tourists frequented, as well as explinations of when/where for tours of the Island, blue grotto, nature trails, etc.

My wife and I stayed here for two nights. We got a great deal and were a little apprehesive because of some mixed reviews. We were offerred an upgradfe to a larger ocean view room and took it. It was well worth it. The view was spectacular.

The lobby and rooms were immaculate. Breakfast was very good and the staff was extremely helpful. The location was nice, quiet, but only a short walk from the piazza. All in all, a great buy.

Capri was the highlight of our trip to Italy. We were lucky enough to be offered the upgrade to a Junior Suite - Room 24. This room was spacious, with a large, clean bathroom and a spectacular balcony with amazing views of the ocean. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful in organizing our bags to be taken back to the Marina and also suggested a fabulous local restaurant for dinner. There is no pool at the hotel, but a beautiful pool next door which charges about 10 Euros for the day.
The only negative about the hotel was the breakfast. It was very basic. One of us got sick in the evening after eating the breakfast ?from the yoghurt left to ferment, uncovered for a few hours whilst breakfast was being served. So be careful of what you eat or get there first thing when the food is fresh!! We will definitely stay in this hotel again, hopefully soon.

My clothing was stolen out of the room. In addition, the room was dirty. The sofa was full of cat or dog hair. One of the provided robes was stained with poo. The curtains do not close completely and in fact fell off the hooks. Had to wait until the next morning for them to fix this.
