“Lovely stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 9, 2013

Hotel Weber Ambassador was a very nice experience from the beginning to the end. We did not know about the pick up at the marina and payed for a taxi which was much more than the Weber shuttle. After that it was one of the finest times we have had. Staying on the hill, with the plush vegetation, was so beautiful, took your breath away. We were on the quiet side of the island which was great! Our room was facing the sea, had a big terrace and was very clean. The staff was so kind, especially at the restaurant! It's a hotel like no other!

The hotel is excellent. We were greeted with champagne and a view of Capri paradise. The rooms are very comfortable, spacious and clean. You can enjoy the lounger on the balcony of his room one of the most beautiful landscapes of the island Faraglioni rocks. Good breakfast and shuttle service very efficient. Hotel staff very competent. Excellent cost x benefit.

We loved the way that they made us feel so welcome. Every member of the staff spoke to us and greeted us with a smile each day. The food at night was very good and eating breakfast on the terrace in the morning was gorgeous! Nothing was ever a problem and everyone was more than happy to help us, especially the bartender, Mauricio. He was so friendly and worked so hard to make our holiday just perfect! The pool was my favourite area as it was so relaxing and felt as though we were in a dream looking over the Mediterraneo sea. Perfect! We liked everything about Hotel Weber Ambassador and hope to be back some day! Thank you everybody !!

Beautiful hotel! Many thanks to the staff for the friendliness and attention. The hotel is located in the most beautiful place of Capri with amazing views of the sea from the rooms, a 2-minute walk from the beach. The hotel staff was concerned about his guests and proactively provides its guests special rubber mats, beach towels. The rooms are always clean, breakfast excellent. A wonderful service to our guests - a free bus to the city centre, which is very convenient for those who like to travel. All services of the hotel are superb. We spend a great time and recommend to stay in this hotel, the price matches the quality.

We have visited Capri many times, but never had the chance to stay overnight. The Weber Ambassador is located on the hills overlooking the Marina Piccola with nice views of the Faragioli. A short ride on the free shuttle gets you to the town center in minutes, and the hotel has its own wonderful restaurant and piano bar. There is also a nice pool for swimming as well as a small beach with its own cafe. The rooms were clean and modern with nice A/C (which was welcome in August). Hotel rooms tend to be expensive on the island, however, the Weber was reasonably priced with breakfast included. Staff is very nice, and service was great. In my opinion, this hotel is a great value for the money. I would certainly stay again, and recommend that you do too.

My husband and I stayed at the Weber Ambassador for 4 nights in early October 2012, we were at the end of a six week honeymoon and after some r&r. We found the hotel clean, large rooms (booked a suite) facing the ocean. The Weber is on the quiet side of the island, the hotel provides tranfsers from the Ferry terminal (the busy side of the island) for arrival & departure.
The most memorable experience of our stay was massage by 'magic hands' Tina, if you are into massage do yourself a favour & give Tina a try. Bone weary I booked us in for a 90 minute massage with Tina and wow...Tina is a mature experienced & professional local masseuse with excellent technique, we both slept like babies the first night. So good in fact we booked in with Tina very night for the four nights & in just got better. Mu husband has complained of a tight right shoulder since I met him, and since his work with Tinan & he has had great relief. TIna is a private masseuse and can be contacted va Reception desk, there are some posters around the main fiyer room as well.
Thanks so much TIna for looking after so well, we are so happy we fell into your syrong & caring hands. Al the best for the future.
John & Tania (Sydney, Australia)

Room Tip: Must book in for a massage with Tina, magic hands

We enjoyed three nights at the Hotel Weber located in Capri, we found it quite an adventure getting to Capri by boat not that accessible for someone traveling with luggage but doable. The employees were very friendly and our room was overlooking the ocean and very clean. We enjoyed our time outside on our deck and loved the view. The morning breakfast that is included with the price of the room was the best we had during our stay in the Almafi, a large selection of breads and croissants and lot's of fresh fruit. The restaurant they have in the town is also very good and lot's of food so make sure you are hungry. Capri was a lovely place to visit, I would suggest one or two days three seemed a little long. The beach located at the bottom of the hill probably a good 50 stairs was fun, packed with locals and fun for all. Make sure to bring water shoes there's no sand and the rocks can get very hot. We rented a boat and captain for a 2 hours tour around the island. This was the highlight of my trip, it cost about 150.00 and we had a small boat to ourselves. Our driver didn't speak much english but we managed, the view was spectacular and the captain made sure to bring us to all the great grotto's, we also did the blue grotto and believe me when I say really not worth the hassle. You get on a very small boat rushed through the grotto and barely have time to breath before you are rushed back out, the boat trip was much much better. If you are planning to go to Capri at night make sure to dress fancy, I felt that I was at the oscars so many people dressed in gowns, fun for people watching, lot's of high end shops.

Official Description (provided by the hotel):
The Weber Ambassador Hotel is a four-star luxury Capri hotel, right on the beach of Marina Piccola, the nicest of Capri Island. No beach in Capri isle and in the world is more fashionable and exclusive than Marina Piccola. This hotel is ideal for those who are looking for a totally relaxing holiday, in perfect harmony with nature and the sea, in a location well away from the bright, noisy and some time problematic Piazzetta, a very crowded place where all discos and night clubs are, and where thousand of young people spend the night in gangs. Although this is only 500 metres away, and can be reached using our free shuttle service, which runs every 5 minutes throughout the day and until 3.00 Am. From the terraces of the Ambassador Weber and from a number of the hotel’s bedrooms, sweeping views over the Bay of Marina Piccola, the Faraglioni rocks and Monte Solaro can be seen. For centuries this panorama has been inspiring writers and artists of worldwide fame, including Thomas Mann, Maxim Gorky and Frank Sinatra, all of whom stayed in the historic Pensione Weber. One of the oldest of the island’s establishments, the pensione is now a luxurious 4 star hotel. We won't offer you "3 for 2" or "5 for 3" nights like some Capri hotels do and in which, when you book and stay only one night because the place isn't inhabitable, they make you pay for the whole stay. We will never try to keep you prisoner for longer, if you do not like the place. We will give you a 96 hour cancellation policy, not 2 weeks which is the common cancellation policy in all Italian hotels. You can book a room at the Weber Ambassador Hotel through our booking system online or through 36 different Tour Operators. ... more   less
