Our waiter was friendly, though it seemed like there wasn't much of a system to it as we had about 3 different people serving us so it was a little slow at times. The slowness was a non-issue for us though as we had a lovely view.
There are expensive items on the menu - some of the meats for mains are 50Eur however pastas were around 14-20Eur. Our meal was just over 60Eur total (bottle of water, 2 pastas, 1 side, and 2 desserts +15%) so just as easy to eat on a "lower" budget and we were very full.
Definitely book at least around lunch time for dinner reservations otherwise they will be full! Would also recommend giving them the hotel you're staying at (or have your hotel book) as we were only charged the 15% not the cover charge and they kept track of the hotels next to your name in the reservation book.
