“Fab Hotel, Fab Staff!”

Couldn't recommend more highly this hotel, without exception the staff are so helpful and welcoming. After a busy day exploring this wonderful area, no better place to return to relax, a great buffet breakfast is included with a very wide selection, to include lovely freshly baked cakes and pastries. The room service snack menu is great too, snack by the pool or the breeze bar and not expensive. The view is fantastic, not too noisy either even though right on the side of the road. Room very nice, comfortable bed,and a great shower in the bathroom, also exceptionally clean,Would definitely recommend eating at Salvatore two mins walk from the hotel, family run, full of rustic charm, fab pizzas cooked in wood oven and delicious pasta, incredibly good value. IIrefugio very good too, great food and very welcoming, the shuttle bus, will drop you there too.
Have already booked to go back to this lovely hotel next year for another week!!
Loved it.

My wife and me spent a total of five nights at Hotel Prestige, Sorrento at the end of August 2014.
After checking into our room (we booked a superior room with a private terrace and seaview) we realized that the noisy main road was running directly in front of our balcony. So you really have a view on the road and the parking lot of the hotel. The room itself was nice and clean but rather small. The same applies for the pool, it's quite small. The sauna is tiny and we ended up not using it because we found a discustingly dirty towel in there. Also one of the towels in our room had big yellow stains on it when we first checked in. Generally, the towels were only changed on request, when we left them lying on the bathroom floor housekeeping would simply hang them back up.
Extra soap and shampoo were also only given on request. The breakfast buffet is disappointing at best. No variation at all, old bread (on the morning of our check out it was moldy!), no seasonal fruit, terrible instant juice,...
Having breakfast in the room is an extra 10€ per day and they don't serve breakfast on their beautiful terrace.
We also booked a boat trip to Capri through the hotel for the price of 80€ per person. It turned out that the real prize if we would have booked the trip ourselves is 29€ for the exact same trip with the same boat tour company.
In conclusion we were very disappointed, for the amount of money that we paid to stay at Hotel Prestige the overall impression is a catastrophe.
I have to mention though that the staff is very nice and polite.

It is a beautiful hotel with an amazing view. The staff extremelly nice and helpful. In terms of location, the hotel is up the hill but the shuttle bus makes all the difference, 20 min away from down town Sorrento. Awesome...

Room Tip: Rooms are not suitable for family of 4. For a better view, ask for ocean view room.

I'm embarrassed that this review (or all of my Italy trip reviews) has taken this long, but signing into TripAdvisor made me immediately think of my favorite stay in Italy. Hotel Prestige set the bar extremely high for customer service and attention to detail. The front desk service from everyone behind the desk catered to any question, need, request, conversation we brought up. We were offered an upgraded room at a very slight increase in price (versus what it should have cost), the views and ambiance were great. I honestly can't say enough about Hotel Prestige, if my wife and I are fortunate enough to travel back to Italy, I would 100% stay again, and probably for longer! We were just spoiled at this hotel, thanks to the staff for making our visit to Sorrento so memorable.

Room Tip: Higher floors allow for breathtaking views of the Sorrento hillside

Very welcoming hotel with pleasant and attentive but unobtrusive staff. Our room had a terrace overlooking the pool and hotel grounds. We chose it purposefully because it's out of the town up the hill with fabulous views over the bay. Some people might find it a problem as the hotel does not have a restaurant but it does do bar snacks (a fabulous caprese salad) as room service and breakfast each morning is included. We like to eat out when we are out and about during the day or were happy to take the hotel shuttle bus to a nearby family run restaurant or to town. Bus to town and to the Amalfi coast stopped right outside the hotel. Hotel arranged airport transfer. All very convenient and we loved it. Great stay.

The personnel is very kind and helpful. The premises are nice, clean and tidy.
Very nice view on the sea and the Vesuve.
The bedroom was nice, calm and with a lot of space (hill side).
Breakfast was good.

Unfortunately, the hotel is located just next to a road leading to Sorrento. Quite noisy times to times, especially if your bedroom is on that side (view on the sea).

Room Tip: It's better to choose a room on the hill side and not with the view on the sea (road side..). Yo...

Hotel Prestige really made our holiday something to remember. After being a bit daunted on our first shuttle trip up to the hotel, we quickly realised Hotel Prestige was the place to be. Away from the hustle and bustle of the town we could relax and appreciate the beauty of Sorrento from above. Good breakfast with lots of choice (recommend hunting down the custard pastries - yum!), great pool area and clean rooms (showers are brill). Every member of staff (cleaners and shuttle drivers included) made every effort to ensure we were comfortable and got the most out of our stay. Local restaurants are also great, we particularly enjoyed Il Panorama. If you want to (begrudgingly) leave your holiday feeling relaxed and with fantastic memories of the beautiful Italian coastline, stay at Hotel Prestige!

Room Tip: Romantic rooms have a lovely view!
