“Delightful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2013

As a family group covering 3 generations we found the location ideal - right in the centre of Sorrento. The bus from the airport was so convenient to the Flats (just 5 mins walk) and Emanuela had given us very clear directions in advance. Thankfully when we arrived Luigi, Emanuela and Valentina met us at the entrance to carry our cases up the 69 steps ( the only drawback for the pensioners of the group). The apartment was delightful - clean, really comfy beds, lovely shower and very convenient kitchen with all the gadgets you need and despite being in the main street it was so quiet at night. Luigi, Emanuela and Valentina were such lovely hosts, most helpful and friendly and able to arrange any trips we wanted. We would definately love to stay with them again - hopefully with a lift installed next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sorrento Flats. Kudos to Emanuela, Luigi, Paola, and Valentina for their assistance with tours and restaurants. They were all so helpful and pleasant every day. Our only complaint was the 4 flights of stairs we had to negotiate every day. Our rooms were at the check in location rather than the other location so I can only speak to that. Perhaps there are fewer stairs or an elevator there. It's a great place to stay, centrally located, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend!

After the long, bumpy, hot, crowded ride on the Circumvesuviana train between Naples and Sorrento, settling in to Sorrento Flats B&B was very much welcomed. It was clean but warm, sleek yet comfortable, central and secluded. Emanuela was a dream! She not only had lots of information eagerly offered at the slightest request or curiosity, she even held our bags for two days as we explored the rest of the peninsula.

Yes, the address given for Sorrento Flats is not where you will be staying. It is, however, very close to the train station which many people will be arriving on, and then walk through town is not very long and a nice introduction. Plus, it gives you time to pick the brain of this most wonderful of hostesses. As long as you've got a suitcase with wheels, you should be fine. If not, I'm sure Emanuela will accommodate you somehow.

Room Tip: They all seemed good, frankly.

The owner and staff made it so easy for us! The check in point is only a black and a half from the train station, and was very easy to find. Luigi, the owner, met us and helped us with our bags to our room, located a little further into the Old Town. Along the way, he welcomed us and gave us an introduction to the area. He showed us to our room, asked us if there was anything we needed, a drink, a snack, etc. the room was very nice, we had a nice sized bathroom with a waterfall shower head, a little balcony that looked down onto the street below, and a very big bed. The location cannot be beat- we were in the heart of the Old Town and within walking distance to everything... The Marina Grande (where we enjoyed an amazing dinner, location recommended by Luigi himself), the beach, the Porta, Piazzo Tasso, etc. we were only there one night, but the hospitality and accommodations were great. Would definitely stay there again!

The entire family stayed at Sorrento Flats for 14 nights. It was an absolutely delightful experience in every way. The staff was superb. Emanuela was the ultimate hostess and helped us schedule details, find interesting and unusual places to go, and was overall very charming. Paola always made sure that we were comfortable during our stay, and we enjoyed speaking (learning) Italian with her. Sorrento Flats is perfect for location, cleanliness, service and overall value. We highly recommend the accommodations, and the lovely staff.

My girlfriend and I stayed at Sorrento Flats in early August for 5 nights. We had a fantastic time, and loved Sorrento. Sorrento Flats was a great base to explore Sorrento from - very central location in the old town a short walk of the main square (lots of restaurants and bars), the beach and the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful (restaurant and day trip recommendations), and the accommodation clean and well appointed with kitchen facilities, wifi and balcony. We would 100% recommend it to other young couples.

My GF stayed here for 4 nights recently. The location is excellent. Very close to all of the shops and restaurants. You sleep on a true king size mattress, which is very comfortable. Easily the most comfortable mattress we slept on in all of Europe!

Upon arrival, it is a little sketchy because you walk up to a non-descript door, and walk through a hallway, then up 4 flights of stairs. However, the units are very up-to-date and modern, and staff is very welcoming and accommodating. A nice perk is the self-service kitchen for snacks, as well as the breakfast each morning. Also, If you need them to assist you with booking taxis, tours, etc., they will be happy to do so. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi was very, very poor in the room we were staying in, however, that was not that big of an issue since we were out in the city for the most part. I think this was an issue because we were probably the furthest room away from the router. Nevertheless, not a big deal.

if you do not know where to stay in Sorrento and want to stay in a nice place, you cannot go wrong selecting this establishment.
