This a great hotel to stay in.
The staff are really nice and helpful and can speak english.
The rooms are in great condition and get cleaned regularly. The bathroom is very clean and contained a small shower. I liked this hotel and would say to stay here if visiting.
The Location is in the heart of the city, which makes it easy to get around, and is close to the main bay which takes takes you to the Island Of Capri.(4-5 min walk from hotel to get to bay)
If you are getting to the hotel by coach from Naples Airport, the last bus leaves at 7.30pm. When you arrive in Sorrentoe the Hotel is walking distance. It is literally round the corner from where the coach drops you off. Have fun and enjoy your stay.

The Hotel Sorrento City was a wonderful surprise, as we chose it through the website. Located in the very heart of this beautiful city, we were close to everything. The beautiful piazza was only steps away. Two or three blocks from the train station made it very easy to get to. We did not hear any train noise whatsoever.

The hotel is very small and intimate. It was lovely and exceptionally clean. The owner, Roberta, a delight, was always on site. She, along with her very good staff, were always ready to assist us with questions, locations etc. Her hotel is a labor of love, and she is excited about her expansion project which will enlarge her lobby and dining room.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We would love to go back to Sorrento, which is a beautiful city, and we definitely would stay in the Hotel Sorrento City.

Great bargain, especially for a city center hotel. Only 2 blocks from the train station, 1 block from the main piazza, and a short walk to the harbor. Great base for exploring the Amalfi Coast, Capri, Pompeii, etc. Grocery stores and other shops are within a few feet of the front door. Staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, providing maps, directions, dinner reservations, anything we needed. Included breakfast was adequate, although our group of 8 would have liked some fruit in addition to the pastries, rolls, and cereal. Overall: would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone!

I found the hotel by accident while walking the streets of Sorrento upon my arrival. It is conveniently located, close to the centre of town, called Piazza Tasso. I paid 70 Euros for a single for one night including breakfast. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. I had rm 206 which was quiet, not facing the main street. Self-serve breakfast included cereal, coffee, tea, juice, bread, ham, cheese, yogurt, jam and butter. There is also a TV in the breakfast room where one can catch up on news. Receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this typical European hotel!
