stayed there for a week in july. Apartment has a great location, close to the beach, ferry port and resort center.
Owners very helpful, room was cleaned regularly with fresh towels everyday. Breakfast was served in nice courtyard (standard continential breakfast). Room was spacious with good storage space and good air conditioning. bathroom was nice, but water pressure in shower was very bad also kept going from hot to cold. there was cooking facilities with plenty of pots and pans but no plates or cutlery etc. Overall had great stay room was good value for sorrento, would stay here again.

So the price of 75 euros a night is pretty damn good in Italy....but quoting a previous review "sorry casa dominova but you just didnt do it for me".
Dominova's location is great and our room (looking onto the courtyard) was very tidy and clean & the bathroom is a little larger than most italian bathrooms....though the bed was very lumpy! My main gripe is that when we tried to turn the air con on it didnt seem to work so my husband tried to locate someone to help but with no luck so we spent a very very hot night with no aircon..and no sleep!....the next day we were told that you had to turn it on first with a key located next to the door! Well that bit of information would have been nice if we were told on check in! My other gripe was being woken up by jack hammering at about 7.30am both mornings!! not sure if the work was being done on the dominova or some other hotel ....but still it would have been nice to be told to expect some noise in the mornings! I don't think I would stay again ...would probably pay a bit more and stay somewhere else.....afterall there are hundreds of places to stay in Sorrento....

my brother and I just stayed at the property and found this to be the best room we booked for our trip. The rate was fantastic. The location is in the heart of sorrento. Everything is at your doorstep. The owner took great pride in his b&b. The room was spotless, the bathroom was twice the size of most bathrooms throughout europe. The ferry service to the islands is a 5 minute walk. The main train station is also a couple of blocks away. The two brothers who run the casa dominova were extremely freindly and helpfull throughout our stay. we stayed 3 nights and would recomend the casa to all. thank you for a great stay. brian

We booked online and arrived from Naples late. We met Ciro at the Giglio Restaurant and were guided the few blocks to Casa Dominova. Nice part of town, easy walking distance to everything. Room was spacious, light and comfortable. Bathroom large by European standards. Carolina and Ciro were very attentive and ensured a great stay. Breakfast was very good. We booked two nights and elected to stay a third because of the service and enjoyment of Sorrento and surrounding sights. I recommend Casa Dominova without reservation.
