This hotel boasts stunning views of the fishing harbour and across the sea to Mount Vesuvius.Rooms are spacious,colourful and spotlessly clean.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.Relaxing in the lounge was sheer therapy and definitely suited
to creative spirits!I shall return again one day.

Amazing, friendly and wonderful experience; I am so glad we found this place and were able to stay here. Located just outside of the main hustle of Sorrento, it is a quite location with a quick walk into the center of town. The views from every room are amazing and how can you not enjoy an amazing breakfast while looking out over the Bay of Naples. The staff was very friendly and accommodating in every way. We had to change rooms during our stay due to availability and the staff could not have made it easier both when we were making our booking and the day we had to change rooms. While the main lobby décor is defiantly not your normal hotel fare it was beautiful and always gives you something new to discover. It was large, comfortable and felt like home - even after spending the entire day in the hotel due to the torrential rains were encountered. Both rooms were spacious, comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was amazing with a huge assortment of items to choose from and made to order items for the asking. Each evening we enjoyed a nice serving of tea and cookies as we relaxed after a long day of touring. I hope to someday be back and will defiantly stay at Maison La Minervetta!

This was a wonderfully quirky hotel. Exceptionally friendly service, excellent breakfast and beautiful views. Our room was bright blue, red and white. As you walk in the room the far wall was a window which looked out to sea and down to the harbour in Sorento. From the Patton in the main hotel you could see mount versuvious in the distance. The main hotel room was filled with brightly coloured mediteranean sofas and chairs, piles of architectural books and a wide range of art. Staying at the hotel was an experience not too be missed.

When we did not see the Hotel from the street I thought we were in trouble, but then we took the mirrored elevator to the lobby floor and were transported to a land that many people never see. This beautifully simple yet magnificent Great Room of Italian colors with a bit of a nautical flavor was before my eyes. There was so much to see that I literally stopped in my tracks. The colors and art pieces just blew me away. The blues, corals, yellows etc. of the room opened up to full glass window/doors that pulled in the colors of the sea and sky. Together it was mesmurizing. Our room was another combination of nautical Italian beauty. The views were the kind you see in Vacation brochures of paradise. I loved staying at this hotel the only thing missing was a restaurant. If there was a cafe or eating establishment for dinner I would never have left the hotel. Breakfast was a fine combination of pastries, cheeses and meats typical Italian buffet breakfast. The staff made everything more enjoyable with pleasant conversation and attentiveness. Being on the side of a cliff has it's draw backs of course it was 279 steps down to the marina. Beautifully appointed gardens accompany those steps but 279 is a stretch for me. Overall this was truly a wonderful Hotel and I will never forget my vacation in Sorrento. I hope one day to take the Song lyrics to heart and "Return to Sorrento".
