I stayed at Il Giglio Bianco from July 8 - 12, 2011 with two girlfriends. We booked a triple room through their website directly. The booking process was easy and i felt secure that our reservation had been confirmed. We arrive at Sorrento Train Station from Naples. In my confirmation email it told me to call them when we arrived. I did so, and Mario (one of the owners) told us to wait there and he'd be along to pick us up. 10 mins later Mario arrived and had room for all three of us and our luggage. I couldn't believe that he picked us up. i've never had that service before. We arrived 5 mins later at the B&B, the accommodation is on the 4th floor - with our 20kg bags we were a little concerned their was no elevator BUT Mario picked up all our bags and slung them over his head and carried them for us!
The room was exactly how it was pictured on their website. The room had one queen bed and one single bed. It was big enough that we didn't feel like we were walking on top of each other. the bathroom was in a separate area of the room which gave the room more space and it had a good shower and plumbing.
The room also had a terrace which was really nice to sit out on and enjoy a book during some down time from seeing the sights. The room also had air conditioning that work very well and was our relief from the 40 degree heat.
The accommodation includes WI-FI which worked pretty well. It also included breakfast which was great - croissants, breakfast pastries, yogurt, juices, coffee. very well presented and filling.
We heard no noises while we were in our room other then some random neighbouring homes. it was quiet and a wonderful place to retreat to after a full day of sightseeing.
We had a wonderful stay and felt that it was a great value!
