“Villa Elisa - upstairs apartment”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 5, 2013

This apartment is lovely, it's so central and the owner Antonio and his family are always available should you need any assistance or advice. We were able to cook breakfast in the little kitchen, which has everything you need and sit on the terrace looking out on the square and watch the world go by. There are lots of lovely restaurants, cafes and shops within a short walk, it's also near the port and bus/train station to connect you to the Amalfi coast and nearby Islands.
This was our second trip to Sorrento and this location was excellent. The apartment was cleaned every day during our stay.

Thank you Antonia and your family for making our holiday so enjoyable, we will return.

Room Tip: Excellent location

Lovely place to stay in the heart of Sorrento, very near the main square (Piazza Tasso) and all Sorrento has to offer (public gardens with sea view and panorama over the Vesuvio and gulf of Naples, old narrow streets, road that goes down to the port, etc.) The Dalia room is very comfortable and well equipped with a very functional and clean kitche, and an additionnal bathroom. It is easily accessible to people with walking difficulties, it's on the ground floor and there are only 2 steps to get in. The flowery patio is very relaxing : you can find shade in the afternoon and sun in the evening.
Antonio and his family are lovely and Luisa, the cleaning lady, is very helpful too. Very good value for location and services offered.

After traveling around Europe for a month in hotels it was so nice to find this cosy, gorgeous villa in the centre of Sorrento. My husband and I stayed on the second floor and we had our own terrace on the third floor. It was so very cute. We were able to cook with a little kitchen that had everything we needed. There was a dining table, sofa and tv. Good heating/cooling system. What a delightful place to stay. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Sorrento.

The location is on a charming quiet piazza near the center of town. Bars, restaurants and grocery all nearby. We stayed in the upper apartment with a nice view of the square. Antonio and his parents are completely available, friendly and helpful and the apartment comfortably furnished and well equipped. Ask them for recommendations on restaurants favored by locals. A very reliable place to stay.

Room Tip: The top apartment may be the best.

We stayed in Villa Elisa in the middle of Sorrent for 3 days in November 2012 and enjoyed it very much!! Our apartment was comfortable, well equipped, homely and clean. It was close to the to the train station and - for us important - to the ancient sites we wanted to visit. The hosts Antonio and his mother were absolutely nice and helpful. *Antonio, thanks again for the transfer to the airport in the middle of the night :-) *
We will stay there again and recommend Villa Elisa to anybody!!

Terrific stay in mid September! Antonio and family are very friendly and helpful. We had come with things we thought we wanted to do and see but Antonio suggested other things and we were so glad we took his advice.
Go for the upstairs apartment if you can get it. Has its own private terrace overlooking the very beautiful piazza below, a separate kitchen, large modern and clean bathroom, combination dining and lounge room, and separate good size bedroom with walk-in closet. Flat screen TV and AirCon (2 of them). The Villa Elisa location is unbeatable.
And when you plan your trip don't under-estimate Sorrento. Deserves a day of it's own and in our opinion Sorrento was the highlight of our 5 night stay.

My 17 year old daughter and I stayed in the Dalia unit for a week and it was wonderful! We felt very safe and found Antonio (the owner's son) to be an invaluable help. The unit was very clean and was tended to every day of our stay. We did alot of cooking so they provided us with dish soap and often washed up any remaining morning dishes. The courtyard was a beautiful area to sit and enjoy our meals or converse with the other visitors. Antonio helped us book a private tour of Capri which I highly(!) recommend, it is well worth the Euro's to do Capri this way. Antonio was also helpful in recommending other attractions and found his recommendations to be dead-on. The location is superb. Very close to the main square and just a block from the cliff and beach area.

Room Tip: Dalia room has a large kitchen and two bathrooms. Great for multiple people, esp. if you want to co...
