“A unique series of ivory carvings”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 9, 2012

Worth visiting to see the series of 12th century carved ivory plaques of Old and New Testament scenes. Simple, clear, attractive imagery and an insight in to a period of Italian history that is less visible than the Renaissance and Baroque - perhaps the dark ages were not so dark after all.

There are several other interesting exhibits in the Museum as well. It is just around the corner from the Duomo and is FREE!
