“Perfect for exploring Pompeii,Paestum and Amalfi Coast”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 25, 2013

Stayed for 3N/4D as a couple. It is actually walking from the train station and located in a quiet neighbourhood. Rooms as well as bathrooms are modern and good size. Breakfast served is very good. Its a small cozy place run very well. We managed to do Pompeii and Paestum in one day (very hectic but worth it as we wanted to spend a day in Positano). We travelled by train to Pompeii and took a direct train to Paestum instead of coming back to Salerno. The hotel is a perfect base for exploring the area. Given the price, you cannot ask for more...

Everything was perfect. Exellent location close to everything you need - sea port, train and bus stations, old town centre. Well furnished rooms, modern tasteful decor, huge bathroom and comfortable bed, good wifi connection. Great staff. Can recommend to everyone. :))

My wife and I stayed here earlier this month and cannot recommend the place highly enough. Right from when we were checked in by Alessandro, the whole experience was faultless. There were so many little extra touches which delighted us. For a start, the breakfast was far lovelier than what we would expect at the price (82 Euro) and there are bicycles available, for free, for guests. Our room was spotless and double glazed so very quiet. Alessandro also recommended that we eat at the restaurant next door (Chilomerrozero) which was truly outstanding. As an added bonus, Salerno is a pretty town with a wide attractive mall, enchanting old town and a lovely long promenade beside the harbour. Enjoy your stay!

We stayed 3 & 5 days @ this hidden treasure, whilst exploring Almalfi coast, hotel is wonderfully decorated, spotlessly clean & large rooms/bathrooms. Close to train station & ferries. The service provided by Alexandro & his staff, Grace & Angela make your stay a wonderful experience.

I stayed in this place late Sept 2013 and used it (as well as Salerno) as a spring board to get to Amalfi Coast and Capri and what a pleasurable time I had.

Alessandro and his team were very friendly ( even though most dont speak English) and really took care of you.

The rooms were probably the best stylish bnb I have stayed in! All rooms were sleek and modern.

It is close to the Salerno train station and walking distance to the ports and shopping area.

Highly recommended!

We've stayed in the Minihotel in Salerno for two nights. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us a choice between two rooms, a "normal" room and the rooftop room with a private terrace with umbrella, sunbeds, outdoor shower, etc. Guess which one we chose?
Once we were checked we got a bottle of cold waterm fresh fruit and a free sambuc as a warm welcome. We could use the free bikes and everyone was were friendly and attentive. Take the ferry to go to Amalfi and Positano, if you like a lot of tourists on a km2, including shops with the normal touristjunk and souvernirs, take a hotel there. Be sure to visit the old towm of Salerno!

Room Tip: Try to get the rooftop room, the other rooms maybe more spacious and have a more modern design, the...

Perfect base to explore the Amalfi coast from. We stayed 6 nights. Staff were excellent, knowledgeable about the area and made our stay warm and welcoming. Grace, Anna and Alex are the perfect hosts friendly whilst professional. This hotel is a little oasis in a busy City. Close enough to the railway station to be convenient but not to be troublesome. We stayed in the suite and had a lovely large terrace to relax on. Wonderful!!

Room Tip: If you want romantic evenings in private ask for the suite which has a private terrace.
