The food, service and value were so fantastic that we felt compelled to drive an hour from Amalfi along the Amalfi Coast Highway in the rain to return the next night! The artistic presentation of the delicate antipasti pleased the eye while the flavor and texture brought each of the five of us to reverent silence. The Argentinian steak served there was the best steak I have ever had holding its own against the famous Florentine T-bone served to me last night at three times the cost. The €5 per bottle house red was fantastic. The restaurant owners were there both nights to oversee the service and preparation of the food. They were kind, helpful, welcoming and generous. Do yourself a favor in Salerno and dine at Cicirinella.
