Plusses: Wi-fi that worked. Minuses: Location, room quality.
The long version
We were quite disappointed when, upon finding the hotel, we realised that it's really far from downtown and the historical part of Salerno. No possibility to walk and quite a long taxi drive. Our mistake when we weren't more careful when locating the hotel prior to booking, but Tripadvisor reviews mentioned that the location is good... Well, if you want to stay next to a McDonald's restaurant, I guess it is a good location for some.
The hotel was clean but it all feels really 80's. Not much renovation work lately, I assume. The service was fine, though we did manage to get a bottle of Prosecco from the bar which was corked and non-drinkable. The views are bad (neighbouring appartments) unless you manage to get a room overlooking the street and the sea behind it. The garage costs extra but there is some free, unattended parking space by the hotel (it was full when we arrived). The breakfast was ok. In all honesty, I can't really recommend this one.
