We stayed at Hotel Marina Riviera for 6 days while attending our son's wedding in Ravello. The staff could not have been more helpful in arranging accommodations for approx 20 of our guests - not an easy feat with guests changing their itineraries on multiple occasion prior to departure from the U.S.. Roberta was most accommodating and dealt with all of my small/large issues with professionalism and humor. Finding a hotel that would meet our rather high standards, yet be within a price point that would be comfortable for the wedding guests, was accomplished.
Stunning views of the coast, lovely roof top pool area, comfortable and airy common areas - the rooms were simple, fresh and spotless (deluxe doubles balconies opened out to the fabulous seafront). Breakfast was wonderful and offered something for everyone, including American eggs!
Location is prime. Close enough to walk to main piazza & docks but removed enough that you are not in the midst of buses/taxis coming/going, hustle-bustle of ferry loading/unloading.
Wonderful family run feel of hotel made for a very comfortable, cozy and afforable stay. Everyone from hotel management to housekeeping extended themselves over and over to our group with sincere affection and interest.
A simple delight!

Room Tip: Double deluxe offers a lovely balcony that opens out to the coast - worth the little extra

This was my first trip to Amalfi and the Hotel Marina Riviera was a perfect choice. My boyfriend and I are in our twenties and we loved as much as my parents who joined us.

It is in a fantastic location, just a short walk past the beach to the main piazza and all shops/restaurants. We had deluxe rooms with a seafront balcony which I would hugely recommend as the view is simply stunning. The breakfast was top quality and a brilliant variety. The pool area and sun deck is lovely and we spent many relaxing afternoons here.

There is a lovely family run feel to the hotel and all the staff are incredibly friendly and professional. They are constantly cleaning and maintaining all areas of the hotel to a very high standard.

Our meal at Eolo was by far the best food in Amalfi also!

Room Tip: We stayed in room 55 and it was lovely, my parents were in room 56 and that was even nicer as it had...

This is our fourth visit to the Marina Riviera in Amalfi. The location of the hotel, the friendliness of the staff and the quality of amenities make this hotel a must for your stay in Amalfi. Stunning views of the Amalfi coast, beautiful pool area to relax after a day's sight seeing, and easy walking distance of all of the fantastic restaurants in Amalfi. Thank you Guisi and Antonio for a wonderful stay.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with a balcony, the views are stunning.

we stayed for 4 nights in May 2012 with two other couples and all agreed we made the right choice to stay at this hotel.
The location is excellent with views over looking Amalfi and its port and only a short walk to the town centre and all the restaurants.
The hotel is very clean with friendly helpfull staff. The breakfast is the best we had during our month holiday and on a nice day you can have breakfast ouside on the terrace overlooking Amalfi harbour and watch the ferries come and go.
The public areas where you can sit and have a drink or light meal have spectacular views.
We had a deluxe room with balcony and seaviews and our only regret is we didn't spend more time chilling out in the room looking at the wonderful sea and town views.
We had an advanced booking discount rate and thought the hotel great value for such a wonderful hotel. Would definitely stay here again

Room Tip: pay for a double deluxe room with seaview. We had room 56 which I recommend

We just got back after staying 3 nights at this wonderful place. The hotel is situated within easy walking distance from the center of town. We asked for a room with sea view which was spectacular, although a bit noisy as its located right above the road . The room (53) was large, very clean and comfortable. The hotel staff were welcoming and helpful and breakfast was expellant. The only fault is that it does not have it's own parking place and although they have a an arrangement with a parking lot, it is still expansive and should be considered. All in all, it is a wonderful place and highly recommended

Stayed at this hotel for 7 nights at the end of May. The hotel has undergone a refurb recently and it is very clean and very white. It is located on the upper floors of the building with a very anonymous entrance almost directly on the road. There is a lift/elevator.
The views from the public areas and rooms are stunning, drinks and breakfast on the patio are lovely. The breakfast is exceptional and as good as any 5 star hotel.
The hotel amenities are limited. There is a pool and sun deck but little else. They have an arrangement with one of the operators on the beach for sun beds and umbrellas but the beach is stony and for me, unappealing.
The bedroom and bathroom were very clean and well equipped although the balcony was small. It was the width of the room (under 3 metres) but a lot less than 1 metre in width with a very small table and 2 very small chairs.
The service from the staff was very good in every department.
We ate in their Eolo restaurant which was very good. Pricey but you get what you pay for.
The location is excellent with only a short walk into town, whilst their sister hotel the Santa Caterina is possibly better overall it is a bit of a hike into the town.

May 2012. Just returned from this hotel which was excellent in every way. Great location, easy to walk into the town, onto the beach and pick up coaches or buses to different locations along the Amalfi coast. As soon as you enter the hotel the atmosphere is warm and welcoming with the owner often around keeping an eye on everything. It has been refurbished throughout so the rooms and beds are extremely comfortable and the bathrooms are of a very high standard. The views from the hotel are spectacular. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sea and the mountains is a pleasure to say nothing of the very good and varied breakfast. All the staff without exception are very polite and helpful making for a very enjoyable relaxing trip.
