“Fantastic Foods!! Fantastic People”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 29, 2013

Me and my wife went to Amalfi for holiday and we ended up for dinner at Da Barracca for our 1st dinner there because of a very friendly restaurent staff (actually its family business) called Simone.
MAMAMIA!!! We love the foods there. The pasta and seafoods are just Fantastic!!!
I normally don't take mussels but Da Barracca mussels make me go back and eat again for dinner on our 3rd night stay. Fantastic Seafoodss!! Fantastic pasta!! and best of all...the staffs or the family members are all veryyy friendly!!
We will sure go back there to eat whenever we have chance to go back to amalfi!

MUST NOT MISS the foods at Da Barracca!

Cheerss!!!

“Italian adventure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 18, 2013

We had been staying in Amalfi for a few days eating mainly in the square. By chance we explored the back streets and came across this delightful Trattoria. We were immediately made to feel very welcome by the charming host. The food was superb, the pasta was delicious. To finish the meal our host offered us both some Lemoncello, free of charge which was a lovely touch after a beautiful meal. The atmosphere was relaxing and we both felt very much at home.
I highly recommend this Trattoria and always advise people to look for the back streets away from the main town center.

“A Great little find”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

We ate at this lovely, family run restaurant on our first day in Amalfi. We started off outside but when it got colder the waiters very happily moved us inside. The food was fresh and good. We had a mixture of bruschetta to start as well as a spaghetti vongole and parma ham with melon. All lovely. We then had a fried mixed sea food platter which was beautifully cooked. For dessert we had their homemade tiramisu which was great. My son who is 13 and really into cooking asked how it was made and they took him into the kitchen and showed him and then they wrote out the recipe for him. Very special.

“Good food and wine, not too expensive and very kind staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012

We started our very good meal of meat and pasta etc. outside on their romantic terrace in a sidestreet of Amalfi and then it started to rain or better to pour! Staff and guests did everything to *save* the situation and we succeeded with much laughter and fun, together with the very kind staff. We could without any problem continue to eat outside and it was great and cozy and such a nice meal, I highly recommend this nice little restaurant off the main street in Amalfi
