In Summer the hoards flock to the towns along the Amalfi Coast. and deservedly so. This is a stunning part of Italy, and a world renowned destination. If the crowds are too much in the town, then staying a few kilometres out is the answer, and this hotel is a gem set high on the cliffs overlooking the fabulous coastline.
Rooms are spacious, and as with most medium range accommodation in this region, not over furnished. After all, if you stay in your hotel room all day, then you have come to the wrong place.
Some rooms have better views than others so it is worth checking in advance. And the view is a killer. The rooftop balcony is a great spot to just chill out and stare over the coast.
The hotel runs a regular free shuttle down to the township, but the buses run regularly and stop right outside the door. The local bus is probably more fun than the hotels mini bus.
Off the lobby the hotel dining room provides a great breakfast buffet with the usual selection. Very friendly and attentive staff.
If the crowds are not your preferred company, then Doria is a wonderful alternative to staying down in the township.
