Travel to the town was easy and we found parking in the street before we got to the centre.
The weather was sunny but cool, which added to our enjoyment, we never got uncomfortably sweaty or cold and wet. Going on a wt or hot day might be unpleasant.
The tourist information office was helpful but less knoledgeable than expected, we might have taken an audioguide as advertised but not available at the time. We had fun, first of all going up to the cathedral (closed for renovations) then simply wandered. The sky was full of swifts and the town was very peaceful. We went down hill to the purgatory church and admired the 1850 water collecting system. (2.50 euros). We got slightly lost but it didn't matter, except hat we had some more stairs to climb. I would definitely consider going back here and might look for accommodation in the town for at least a couple of nights.
