We arrived late as walk ins and paid the standard fare of 70 Euros inlc. breakfast. The rooms are standard size (fairly new) and nicely furnished (half of it IKEA style). The bathroom was clean, the main drawback was the leaking silicon seal from the shower that made the rest of the bathroom very wet after using it. A few unwanted holes in the wall. Very small and antique TV with state TV only (in very bad receiver quality). Very comfy beds and spotless towels.
The restaurant was very surprising. Most of the staff is indian nationality..does not mean anything..but selling local dishes as USP with this setup ?? Strange to me..
The breakfast was very disappointing. Badly brewed cappuccino, industrial packed 2 pieces of toasted bread, industrial packed single portion butter and lovely jam..served with a plastic cup of industrial produced pear juice ?? We asked for fried eggs as supplement and got them with no fuss, well cooked with olive oil.
The biggest disappointment was the early morning noise. When You see the position of the agriturismo (beautifully located next to a little lake with dam..in the middle of a green oasis) you would think to wake up to the sound of the singing birds or other creatures. We got woken up by the horrible noise of a old tractor engine that was doing some work just under our windows, morning 6.00. That is total disrespect in front of your guests. The noise did not stop for around 90 minutes. No word of excuses by anybody. These people better stick to their farming business, hospitality is another thing.
