I stayed here wth my boyfriend for four nights in May. We found the hotel on the internet.
We turned up from the airport a little earlier than the official check-in time. Check-in was very efficient and the staff were lovely. They checked us in and provided us with a map and took the time to point out where the sights, the shopping centre and the nearest metro stops were, they also told us which buses/metro we'd need to take to get places like the City of Arts and Sciences. We were taken up to our room and despite being slightly early, our room was ready so we could settle in.
The room itself was lovely (a Dreamers room - 109), we had lots of room and even a sofa. We also had a large balcony, although it didn't have any sort of furniture so it was good for gauging the weather each day but maybe would have been better had we been able to sit out in an evening with a glass of wine. In terms of room facilities, we were surprised that the room didn't have any sort of tea or coffee making facilities (something that I've come to expect in even the most basic English hotels). Equally the TV was smaller than many hotels I've stayed in, but this wasn't a big issue really and certainly didn't diminish our enjoyment of the room.
We didn't have breakfast or eat in the hotel during our stay so I can't really comment on the restaurant facilities, nor did we use the spa.
The hotel is brilliantly located, there are two metro stops within about a five minute walk from the hotel and the old area of the city and its restaurants are only about a fifteen minute walk away. It's also walking distance to the City of Arts and Sciences if you fancy a nice stroll through the Turia River Gardens. The only time we used the metro was to visit the Bioparc and the beach.
The staff at the hotel were the best thing about the hotel, they were friendly and always willing to help. In addition to pointing things out at check-in, we were struggling with our key one day (the battery was dying) and a member of staff saw, let us into our room and took the key downstairs to sort out. We also came back one day to change when our room was being made up and the woman who was making up our room offered to let us have some time to change and get ready while she started on another room which was nice as we were just happy to change in the bathroom and go.
The only real issue we had (which we put up with) was that it took ages for the water in the bathroom to heat up, I came back one day to have a bath and ended up with a barely lukewarm bath because the water just refused to get any hotter. My boyfriend also had to put up with a cold shower one day. It wasn't too bad as it was warm while we were there but not quite what you expect from a hotel of this rating.
Overall I would recommend the hotel - the location was brilliant, the room was good and the staff were lovely.
