“Good location and pleasantly efficient hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

Good location and friendly staff. Good bus service from Ave Francia will take you to the City centre or the Passage Maritime. Breakfast buffet ok but not special if you are not B&B. Lots of cafes surrounding the hotel for a 4 Euro breakfast.

Room Tip: top floor rooms have sun terraces and are therefore premium priced.

Hotel is in a great location opposite Calatrava architecture. Hotel isn't great looking and although I paid to upgrade to a double room with a view over this architecture I don't think it was worth as you are paying for part views and with no balcony we didn't really look out much. The double bed was very firm but our teenage children had a twin room and the beds were a bit softer. Staff were so helpful. Breakfast was buffet style with hot cooked food, hams, cheeses, salmon, lovely fresh fruit, pastries, breads etc... No worries about getting down for breakfast late as food was constantly topped up. Rooms and overall cleanliness really good. A couple of small niggles..if you want to use the small gym you will be disappointed as only three treadmills in a very small hot room and no water in the water cooler and very few sun beds for the small pool area and they were metal so very hot and unforgiving. For a city hotel though the pool was a reasonable size. The hotel is in an ideal location. The no. 19 bus goes to the old part of city and the beach. Beach is lovely. Good area for shopping with 8 storey dept store and shopping centre approx 3 mins from the hotel. Good bargains! Would visit again.

Very nice hotel, very friendly staff, very clean, nice room, good location close to the City of Arts and Sciences, great for business or leisure.
We didn't use the bar or restaurant as there are plenty of restaurants near by, short walk to the shops, also large shopping centre near by. Tourist bus stops around the corner, but we found it easy to walk everywhere, one day to the port and beach area, the next down the old river through the City of Arts and Sciences all the way to the old town.

This is a very nice hotel, modern, clean and everything to a high standard including room and breakfast, the only fault I could find in our very brief stay here was the towels, they were very thin.
Just across the road is a very big department store called El Corte Ingles which can easily match anything in London

We chose this hotel as it was close to the City of Arts and Sciences but also close enough to the historic centre and the beach. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms very impressive. The air con was effective. We booked on a rate that included 10 Euros a day to spend on the mini bar, room service or bar which was an added bonus. The pool, though small, was a welcome addition to the hotel and one of the reasons why we chose this hotel. The breakfast as other reviewers have commented, has great variety and quality for a hotel of this type. Overall we were most impressed by the overall value for money of our stay. Book direct through Melia to get best rates.

I wish I could rate this hotel higher than excellent. The breakfast was impressive, so many options to choose from. The orange juice was particularly delicious. The beds were so comfortable and the air con was very effective. The bathroom was also luxurious.
In a fantastic location, a short bus journey from the all wonderful sites of Valencia. From beaches to old towns and to zoos!
The aquarium is a ten minute walk away and there is so much beautiful architecture nearby too.
Not too touristy a location, but the locals spoke enough English for us to get by. A good few restaurants around the corner too.
The pool is shaded until the late afternoon but as we wasn't around much during the day it didn't affect us much. We just wish we were still there!

This is a great location in Valencia, very quiet and near many attractions. The hotel is clean and modern, great bathroom. efficient air conditioner. Market and shopping just across the street. Valencia is a beautiful city, the beaches, the old city center, the architecture... perfect!
