- bathroom smells, but if you close the door and open the window it's ok
- chinese wok/mcdonald's/burger king/aldi/lidl very close and you have the possibility to have cheaper meals
- buy tickets from the reception because have the same price and you save time(big queues @City of Arts)

We booked this hotel with the intention of going to look round Valencia. The directions to the hotel were exact and we found it easily. However, what neither they nor the hotel description made clear was that the V31 road is a very busy motorway. The traffic was horrendous and, far from being the small town we envisaged, Alfalfar is a commercial suburb. The hotel is surrounded by commercial centres. The natural park S'Abulfera is inaccessible by foot and much further than it looks on the map. It is actually the other side of the V31 motorway.
This location was a disappointment. So was the hotel restaurant. We chose the plato del dia. This was steak with peppers. The peppers were O.K. (roasted red) but the steak was inedible. It was stewing steak that had been grilled. We sent it back largely uneaten. The waitress apologised but no deduction was made from the bill and no alternative was offered.
It was a stay we'd prefer to forget.

i extended my stay for 6 hours. you didnt clean my room and bathroom.
the hotel doesnt have very poor connection with bus or metro.
i had to spent a lot for taxi than I expected.
in the website it says 8 km from the city center. and its deceptive. the distance might be the same, but the public trasportation to the location is really really poor.

The hotel is closed to shops, restaurants and have a good and easy acces to the centre of the city.
On a Grand Prix weekend, it was full, however they handled it perfectly.

The hotel is situated in a shopping area, just 5 mins away from the south entrance to Valencia(where ciudad de las artes y las ciencias is situated).
It´s also a good location if you´re going to the beach (it took me just 7 mins to go to El Saler beach from there). Nice and cheerful staff, very attentive to us. Would definitely stay there again.
The hotel itself is the typical Ibis, basic, and very clean, fair enough to spend there a few days.

This hotel has always been one of my favorites in the ibis chain in spain. The people who work there are suberb and the location is very good for working in Valencia.

Recently i had the unfortunate experience of staying here. Whilst the hotel is clean and typically 'Ibis', the management were an absolute disaster. I knew what to expect with Ibis and im not fussy and believe you get what you pay for but what we encountered was beyond belief.

We had booked 5 twin rooms months ago and on the day of our arrival had rang at 6 to confirm that we were on route and would be there for 10. All was well until we arrived to find that our rooms were after being given away and due to the weekend and time we had to take double rooms which was very annoying as we were a group on 7 men. They told us that they could move us 2 days later so we agreed to stay. When the day came to move we were out all day from 7 to 5 at the Moto GP (the reason for our visit) and they told us they could not move us as it was too late, even though they knew we would be out all day. After a long arguement they eventually did move us - it was very annoying that they made such an issue of it when they had the rooms and had made the original mistake.

There were other small itrritations such as a lack of glasses and drinks but that wasn't too bad. The major annoyance came when my father went to buy drinks and he was told they were on the house if he signed a review form, he said he would fill it out and send it in. When we went to leave they shouted at us to come back and pay for our free drinks as we wouldn't just sign it and leave it for them to fill out. This was highly embarrassing and very sneaky.

When we went to leave they tried to add more onto the room as we hadn't paid the right price, even though we had a printout of the booking with the total which we had paid. They then tried to charge us for breakfast even though we had paid each morning as it was 7 euro to get it with the room but only 6 euro if we weren't guests or paid when we took it (which i found very strange).

All in all i found it a terrible stay, everything was forced and nothing made easy. There was an atmosphere that made it very uncomfortable and altogether unenjoyable. The rooms were fine, the hotel was clean and the prices were ok but i would never go there again. The location was pretty much in an industrial estate and we found getting taxis out there quite hard as they didn't seem to know where it was although neither the location nor the taxis are the fault of the hotel.
