“Superb city centre location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2014 via mobile

Great hotel, right in centre of old Valencia, everywhere within walking distance and great base to explore. Room great, quiet, comfortable with a superb breakfast buffet. Bar area quiet but very reasonable prices. Reception staff friendly and knowledgable

We stayed here two years ago and it was the perfect place for a first time visit to the city. We would stay again if we hadn't booked last min on a lower budget. Perfect location, great amenities, would highly recommend. Only issue I had with it was that we want a non-smoking room and the floor we had always smelt faintly of smoke near the elevator area.

Room Tip: Make sure you specifically say a room on a non-smoking floor, if that is what you want. Plus a room...

Once we found the hotel (sat nav deposited us 100 yards away!), everything was great. Staff were excellent all round from reception to breakfast. Superb location to explore from with historic centre on doorstep and (Xativa) metro station just around the corner with direct route to port / beach. Would definitely recommend this to anyone, particularly if you can go for the lovely spacious executive room with lovely roof terrace!

Room Tip: Upgrade to Executive if you can

Look out for the sign and arrow to the hotel because it is on a small street. Parking is available in the lot just next door to the hotel. It costs 19 EUR with the hotel's discount. We stayed in room 604. There is an entrance with a door that separates it from the bedroom, and from which the bathroom could be accessed. The room is nice and spacious but would probably need to be refurbished sometime soon. Definitely the beds need upgrading. The bathroom has a bathtub and can be used as a shower, and there is a separate shower as well. The location is very good, is central and is close to shops and restaurants. The staff are definitely very friendly and very helpful.

We had a wonderful few days at this hotel. The hotel rooms were really spacious and very comfortable. The staff were very helpful especially the breakfast team. The hotel was in a brilliant location in between the old town and the interesting area of Ruzafa where we loved wandering in the evening. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Vincci Lys from June 23-28, and really enjoyed our stay. We stayed in Valencia for two weeks, with the first week ready to explore the old part of the city, and the second week to relax on the beach. The Vincci Lys was the perfect location for us to see the city. Breakfast were excellent, Front staff were great, rooms were big, beds were OK, view was not that great, as it looked directly at a building, but we were in the old part of the city with narrow streets. All in all I would recommend staying here to see the city. We both loved seeing Spain for the first time.

I spent a night at the Vincci Lys on a family trip (four adults) and we all absolutely loved it. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful when we checked in. The location is right in the heart of town, a beautiful area surrounded by restaurants and fantastic shopping. I would recommend booking with breakfast, since the breakfast buffet is excellent and probably the best that we had in all of our travels in Spain. One small thing, not really a complaint - we were traveling with a car. The hotel does have parking, but it costs 20 Euro/night, even for hotel guests. We didn't realize this when we made the booking.

But overall an excellent hotel, friendly staff, and a great experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a corner room if you can get one - twice the size of a regular room!
