We stayed here last month for our first wedding anniversary - the location is brilliant, straight off the metro and in the heart of old town - can't fault it and it really is a very nice hotel, we would recommend and stay again. The price is also really reasonable for a four star in a top location,
I had read other reviews before booking and ignored the comments about downstairs noise when you are on the first floor, whilst it didn't really bother us too much it is noticeable - the other noise which was a bit more noticeable was the bar outside with the karaoke late at night, again didn’t really bother us but if you have children or are a light sleeper it could well do – so as other reviewers have posted ask for a room higher up.
The staff were very helpful – they sent us a location map on request before arriving and gave us a double room as requested.
Apart from the noise, a couple of small niggles – no kettle in the room, really!!!! Whilst I don’t mind paying for a juice out of the mini bar, I do object to having to go to the restaurant to fetch coffee to take back to my room and then get charged for it! Again, I don’t mind the fetching and the staff were very helpful, but to get charged!
The other thing was, we left a couple of small items in the room – obviously our own stupid fault, but I contacted the hotel to ask if they could be returned, sadly I haven’t heard anything back.
To sum up, the only reason I didn’t give it four stars was because of these small niggles – having said that we would stay there again, it is a really nice hotel and a great location.
We didn’t have breakfast or use the bar, so we can’t comment on those.
Go as high up as you can!

We regret, however, that you were not pleased with some aspects of your stay.

In any case, we would like to clarify that there are not any Karaoke bars or clubs near to the hotel, so perhaps the music came from a street musician or party. We are sorry for the inconveniences and would like to take mention that we have available three different types of rooms, both interior as well as exterior. So those guests who are not pleased with the room they have been assigned can notify us and, always in so far as it is possible, we will offer a change of room, trying at all times to make their stay pleasant and comfortable.
Likewise, we would like to inform you that any guest who wishes can request tea or coffee from room service.
Lastly, we would like you to know that we have checked to see if perhaps we might have some of your belongings in our hotel, but regrettably at time moment we do not have any lost objects registered in our hotel.
We regret inconveniences and we would like you to know that when our staff find a belonging a guest forget in the room, they immediately notify and hand the object into reception so the guest can be notified and the object sent to them. We apologize if in your case you were not informed that we had not found the belongings you mention and we are at your disposal for whatever you may need.
