We were staying in Valencia for Las Fallas, the largest festival in Spain. The hotel was literally around the corner from the bus station which is how we arrived in Valencia – Extra bonus!
Check in was simple and efficient, typical passport and payment. Room was very comfortable and spacious for cost. LCD TV was nice and WiFi available at cost. Room had balcony which faced park and El Corte Ingles, traffic noise was typical for Spain.
Restaurant is attached to hotel – looked acceptable and was full for breakfast.

This hotel was clean, fresh covers and o.k, i wouldnt say it was a 4* hotel but it was fine for a couple of nights. After having to leave torrevieja early- due to our villa being broken into, it was a relief to find a hotel on the way towards st malo with a private car park. When we first got to our room our balcony door wouldnt close- considering we had just been robbed of all of our belongings in Torreveija there was no way, we'd be sleeping in a room that didn't the balcony securely locked! My boyfriend rang to ask for a different room and the receptionist man said that all rooms were like that even though our friends balcony doors would all close. He refused to help but then i rang someone else and explained what had happened to us and they were very helpful and transferred us to a different room. May not be a 4* hotel but would stay here again!!

The rooms are ugly, dirty and smells bad. I refuse to stay in the room they offer me and they don`t give me back my money.
I`m sure that it`s the worst hotel in Valencia and this city don`t deserve it.
Avoid it. This is not a 4 star hotel. It`s horrible.

In my estimation this would struggle to get 2 star rating and I have stayed in many a four and five star worldwide. Do yourself a favour and book in to the NH hotel next door. We did after one night at the Turia. It reminded me of an old eastern bloc hotel, basically a block of poor quality rooms. The mini bar (as advertised) is actually a call to room service, we booked a Suite, just a room with another room at the side with a sofa bed, Fine if you want to sleep four, not if you want what I would call a suite. The website bills it as a four star-no way and we have filed a complaint with the local and Spanish hotel authority. The TV was ancient and so badly tuned most channels were black and white. Breakfast was the most joyless affair, a large empty space with plastic chairs and a very sad lay out of poorly displayed and not very adequate food. Not the experience I have been accustomed to in my travels. The staff looked lke they agreed with much of what we said and they look as if they are just waiting for the time that the hotel closes through lack of interest. Any good points?? it is right next door to El Corte Ingles, Spains major and high quality department store, But please take my advice to all travellers out there that know better. BOOK THE NH HOTEL NEXT DOOR. Its not a lot more and is 10 times better.

The Hotel Turia is a no frills hotel with excellent service. It is very clean and has all of the amenities that you need. The management was very polite and helpful. Quality was excellent - not luxurious but a top-notch hotel which seems to cater to business-types. Rooms were well-jkept and comfortable.
