“THE Place you want to return!!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 28, 2013 via mobile

We found this restaurant by chance, simply looking at trip advisor. When we arrived we thought at first that the choice from the menu wasn't too wide. But we
Were so wrong! The waitress and owner welcomed us in such a warm way, the owner literally chose our menu as we were curious about many plates and couldn't choose. The dishes are a mix of mediterranean/thai/japanese fusion, such a perfect mix of flavours and taste that you wouldn't find another place like this around! We decided to go back there on our last night in Valencia as this place really is amazing! And a very funny thing is to watch the chef cooking through a cam positioned in front of him!

“Believe the hype!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 18, 2013 via mobile

After reading the comments here I was sceptical this place could be that good, but it is every bit as good and more. Not only is the food inventive and delicious (and reasonable), but the chef/owner and his staff are friendly and generous. We went for lunch (sit at table #2), and the tasting menu had meat- my wife does not eat meat- so the chef offered to adapt the menu to our personal needs. All was lovely: we promptly booked a reservation to return for dinner. The chef told the waiter "I know what they want" and constructed a menu for us. His inventiveness, presentation, the delicacy and balance of his flavors, and use of regional produce influenced by Asian flavoring to riff on traditional tapas style dishes were exceptional. I expect to see him knock out an Iron Chef or two in the next few years. We'd come through Valencia again just to have another meal here.

“A True Find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

My husband and I ate at this lovely little restaurant on the recommendation of a waitress from Carosel in Valencia, and we were delighted. The food was some of the best of our trip and the young staff was gracious and helpful. We had a langostinoes chupa-chups which are coated with a rice crust and flash fried-superb, not a hint of grease, crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. We also had a semi-ceviche of blue prawns. Chef Czim "cooked" the prawns with a cook's blowtorch then added salsas that were both sweet and savory and topped it off with shreds of nori. It was one of the best dishes I ate during our stay in Valencia. In addtiion we had a grilled eggplant dish that was topped by a "cracker" made of local cheese, again delicious. The chef takes great care with each plate he sends out and it shows in the great quality of the food.

After visiting the restaurant on my first evening in valencia .I went again twice to La Comisaria during my hoilidays there .The place has a special ,very inviting atmosphere .They serve local food as well as international cuisine with a special extra. The food stimulates all services .if you watch the chef truth the open window you can tell that the food is freshly preepared and cooked and they exclusivlely use high quality ingridients. The service is awsome too,the plates are creatively arranged and their staff is always in a good mood ,they treat every single customer like a friend .Special requests and orders aren`t a problem for the chef. A must visit, enjoy the experience.

“Michelin worthy tastes and textures”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2012 via mobile

This hidden gem has an excellent menu.

Divided into veggie, fish and meat, it offers portions to share. Combined with the compelling wine menu it offers a great value for money.

What you can expect? Tapas with a twist. They call it fusion, I call it gastronomy. It's asia, spain, india and south america in a bowl.

Chef Eddie, broadcasts a live stream in the alley that hosts the restaurants terrace, so you can see him cooking. Make sure to reserve a table in this local favourite, hidden in the outskirts of Barrio del Carmen, because the small spot will fill up in a wink.

Try the dorade, the chicken or any of the other outrageous combinated dishes and you'll be in for a real treat.

Trust me, I am a culinary expert on all continents. Despite one comment about an onion allergy further down. THIS IS A MUST!

I have said it! Don't hesitate, go there now.
