“Cool place to eat just by the beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 1, 2013

Had a great meal at this funky little cafe/restaurant just by the beach.

The tables were in the shade of the trees outside, nice and spacious so you are not too close to other tables.

The menu was good with breakfasts, tapas, paellas, omelettes and other things. We tried chorizo in cider, patatas bravas and cured cheese which were tasty. I mentioned to the waiter that I was vegetarian and he suggested a vegetable paella which was delicious. 20 Euro for 3 x tapas, 1 x paella, 2 x coffee and a fanta lemon. The other tables were getting omelettes which looked amazing, served in your own little frying pan.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Service was a bit slow but this was a positive thing because it was such a relaxed setting.

All in, we'd definitely go back and certainly recommend to others.

“Funky little eatery, great value, poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013 via mobile

We tried this place on Trip Advisor's Recommendation - alternative, funky place, small tapas menu and good quality food slightly spoilt by lots of dry herbs sprinkled over everything. Very popular with the locals and excellent value - approx 26Euro for x2 litres of beer and x5 tapas dishes. Staff were friendly but not very proactive (we had to ask for a menu, to order food and for the bill). Good for avoiding the touristy places on the nearby beach.

“Best near the beach of Valencia”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

Great food for a very very descent price. The staff is nice, the food is good, the atmosphere is very friendly. You have to find out yourself that this is really a good place to go.
Try the sardinitas, patatas bravas and cloxcinas (mussels) and forget the terrible places that are at the beach. Enjoy!

“Great location, friendly staff, delicious tapas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013 via mobile

We ate there twice. Both times the tapas where really tasty. Order 2, 3 or 4 tapas for your appetite. The staff helps you with the (necessary) translation. Really worth the visit!

“Not only paella”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 22, 2013

After two weeks in Spain I needed a bit of plain (no just fried) and vegetarian food. This place is cool, nice food, great vibe, good service! It is run by young guys that care about their customers!
I want to recommend this restaurant because I had good time, nice ambience and not too expensive. So, in Valencia and in this area this is the alternative place to go!
