Owner description: BIOPARC VALENCIA is a unique zoo. Its design employs the “zooimmersion” concept, in which visitors are surrounded by meticulous recreations of the natural habitats being presented. Social animals that live together in groups are displayed, as well as groups of different species that coexist in the same habitats. Predatory species are integrated into the visual space, but are separated from other species by barriers invisible to the eye of the visitor, ensuring the safety of both the animals and the people. The animals, vegetation and landscape provide opportunities for discovering the complexity of natural ecosystems.

“Lovely afternoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2013

What an amazing place, I could have stayed there all day especially with the Leopards and the Gorillas!! Animals were obviously content and happy in their enviroments. We went to spend time before out flight so we had out big bags with us, thankfully the staff were happy to look after them for us, big thumbs up for that!! Expensive to get in and also the food was a bit limited and over priced. You dont mind the entrance fee once your in though, best zoo we have ever been too!! Tip - take a picnic!

“Fantastic zoo”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2013

Call it like it is - it is a zoo. More importantly it is fantastic to see the animals at such close quarters in well designed habitation.

“Tranquilo”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2013 via mobile

Living about an hour away, we visited this park as part of a weekend away, Valencia is such a wonderful city. Quite a queue to get in, and surprisingly expensive, but once you're in, it's a treat. The animals are very well cared for, and most importantly, look happy which cannot be said of many zoos. Parking is easy in the underground parking area, but suggest taking a picnic as the food on offer is also expensive. A great day out for adults and/or kids.

“One of the best zoos ever !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2013

This is a zoological park like no other. I've been to many zoos around UK and the world and this one is very different. The overall design is to create a feeling of being "in with the animals" as opposed to them being behind bars so to speak. This is one of the few zoos where multiple species are housed in the same enclosure. For example an African scene with Monkeys/Deer/Pelicans/Pygmy Hippos all together. A must see when in Valencia !!!
