Please be very careful from arrival, one lady had her bag opened & passport & money stolen from her personal bag as she waited for the cases to be unloaded from the transfer coach. Her rep told her that this was the norm- so why was there no hotel staff watching?
I was mugged coming back from night club in the early hours & can only be thankful that my husband & myself were not seriously hurt, as instinct makes you hang on to your bag, not commonsense -let him have it!
At the police station next day we heard so many stories of ruined holidays & even young families are targeted

i went to Spain on the 31 july-14 Aug and every day got better and better + hotter and hotter the heat was unbeliveable!

Benidorm is unbeatable in my opinion. My family and I have visted Benidorm several times, at different times of the year (march, april, june, july and november) and have always enjoyed it.

As my husband would say, all holiday spots have sun, pools and lovely beaches, but when the sun sets the evenings can be a bit disappointing.

Benidorm can be as quiet or as lively as you want.
There are free clubs that entertain you all night (as long as you buy a drink) from comedians,to singers to drag artists (and even strippers in the wee hours if thats your bag!) the entertainment isn't always superb but it beats sitting in a bar listening to music all night. Don't get me wrong, at 40 years old i am not a complete party animal, but its fun to be entertained, to laugh at rude jokes, and dance the night away until your feet ache.

There is plenty to do during the day apart from sand and pool, the Mundomar sealife park is worth a visit, and the dolphin show a must. Next door is the waterpark so if you intend on going to both during your stay you can buy a combined ticket at the gate that will save a few pounds per person.

Guadalest is so pretty with its turquoise lake and panoramic views, and the market is hot a busling but watch your valuables!

The old town is a nice stroll in the evening, Benidorm can be as wild or relaxing as you prefer.

Don't be put off by all the high-rise hotels. The beach is beautiful, the shops plentiful, and although we have visited many other holiday destinations Benidorm is the only 1 that we return to again and again.

JUST BRILLIANT!!

Benidorm is a fantastic all in place to go. I went for 4 days of absolute madness with a friend. The bars are great fun and the entertainment just keeps going right through to breakfast. Some of the highlights are Sticky vicky!! take me hat of to her haha!! numerous comedians, a guy called Tommy was great...too peed up to remember the full name haha. the bars are endless...Chaplins, Sinatras, Rockys, Shamrock, Ponchos....on and on they go, then onto some dancing. Had a great tattoo done, by Karl, at K-Tattoo, next to the Shamrock pub, hes a great guy and friend, (Kez will see you next week haha!!). And in March do not miss the fiesta, around the 18th and 19th, the fireworks are amazing and very loud, but well worth the seeing. For anyone going this year....have a blast, from teenagers right through to your nan, something for everyone....in fact the over 60s were still dancing when we were stumbling back to our beds!!! true!!!
