Dont listen to negative reviews, yes this hotel is at the top of slight incline and maybe not suitable for the elderly however when you check into the Tropicana suites all inclusive you get a pass for the whole Magic group of holidays. This means that should you find yourself at the beach or in the old town you will always be near a magic group hotel, they even put a bus on to take you to the other hotels. Found the food to be of high quality and the magic rock gardens next door has more of a selection including a cavary everynight. Kids loved the hotel, pools carer for all ages and you also get a free pass and transport to the mideval night ( think magic group own this). If you are an ordinary family you will love the Magic tropicana suites and the being able able to use all the magic group facilities means you will have a cheap holiday once you pay for your trip.

when we arrived we found the hotel dirty, the rooms had no balcony they were cleaned once in two weeks, I had to ask for clean towels which arrived two days later, the noise was unbearable we would get to sleep to be woken by the group of lads down the hall singing and banging the doors on the way to their rooms, then there was the neighbours who thought nothing of scraping table and chairs for about fourty five minutes at about two in the morning, then there was those above us who came back at four in the morning clipping along with their heels on till about five, by the way the bedroom in on the hall way so every noise going on will be heard, we complained about the noise about six times but it just continued. The poolside bar was never open it had cob webs over it, the resturant was closed so those who are on all inc had to go to another hotel, we were not advised we could use the other hotel facilities at all, the swimming pool was never used as no sun gets to it and I dont think either pool was cleaned at all during our stay, but benidorm is a nice place if you find the right hotel, the yorkshire pride is a great place to eat especially the sunday roast, not expensive either.

I have just spent a week in the HOTEL MAGIC TROPICANA SUITES suites (15 - 22 /08 ) and it was the worst holiday hotel i have took my family to ever. With flights and the hotel the total cost was approx 2750gbp, what a waste of money that was...First, when I arrived , the two receptionists who were on duty ignored us and served spanish children who came from the pool area while we waited, after waiting for 25 minutes I demanded that we be checked in as my family were tired and hungry after our journey, but it still took a long time as the receptionist served other guests while dealing with us.when we got to our room there was a problem with our sofa-bed, there was black mould along the edge of the bath and between the tiles, also the air conditioning unit from the suite above was leaking and there was a constant drip which could be heard all night making it hard to sleep in that room.most of the time the receptionists could only understand very little english, so when we complained, nothing was done. The cleaners cleaned our room but under the beds and in the corners was still dirty and dusty so we cleaned ourselves as our daughter has asthma and house-dust can be a problem, the cleaners also took the towels and sheets for cleaning but never replaced them with fresh ones so we were left with two towels between five of us and no sheets on my sons bed, when I complained at reception I was told they would be replaced the following day, it was only when I demanded we have towels and sheets that night that they were reluctantly obtained and given to us.The restaurant was understaffed and at peak meal times we often had to clear a table put clean table cloth on before we sat down to eat, there was broken crockery on the floor, food & drink splills that were not cleaned up making it dangerous for us and our children, when we complained to the only waitress on duty we were always told " one minute" and nothing was done, the food was often cold and unappertising,we decided we could no longer eat in this hotel for the safety of our children and instead ate all meals in the hotel magic rock (which was 100% better in all respects) the entertainment at the suites for the children during the day and night was a joke, we went out at extra expense so our children could be entertained ( an upturned table and some rings to throw on the legs is pretty poor entertainment for a hotel this size ) the pool was always very cold as the hotel shaded it from the sunlight for most of the day so we had to go elswhere, again more expense. Altogether for an all inclusive holiday that they advertise as being so good for families, with good food, facilities, and entertainment, well maintained and clean we feel totally let down by them, if they could get this hotel up to the standard of the hotel magic rock it would be a definate improvement but until this happens we would like to warn others of this total waste of a holiday. stayed in this hotel for 4 nights/ On arrival we found out there was a 125 deposit just incase anything was left damaged, which would of been fine if we knew about it. Because we didnt bring much money as we were all inclusive we had to leave our passports which i wasnt too happy with!

The rooms were clean with alot of space, but don't go all inclusive as its not worth it. The food was basic and all the drinks are watered down. I found a hair in my food so that put me off and ended up eating out most nights.

As for the staff they were extreamly rude! They didnt care about their customers and didnt nothing for us. The night receptionist was a man and scared me a bit one night as he wanted my friend and i to stay with him and not go down town. We asked him to ring us a taxi as they ring taxis to come and collect you but he got in our face and told us to' [--] off' and walk down there! i couldnt believe it! Also if you go and get a drink from the bar the staff would notice you are waiting but carry on doing other jobs like cleaning the glasses and make us wait about 5 minutes till they even bother to say hello and serve us!

The hotel is on a a hill and and is about a 15 minute walk down to all the nightlife. I love benidorm and its my second time back its just a shame where i ended up staying. I thought it would be fine because of all the good reviews but it the staff and food was terrible.

i have loads more that i could say but i'll be here for a lond time i just hope that my review has been helpfull

The apartment was clean, but missed not having a balcony. We arrived on the Friday for 7 nights and the cleaner came in on the Monday and changed the beds and towels, which we weren't expecting, but then had to make sure we dried the towels for the rest of the week. There was quite a bit of damage in the apartment when we arrived, we relayed this to reception, but apart from writing down that the shower head had nothing to sit in on the wall, nothing else was noted. The shower was fixed the next morning. When I left my credit card details for the deposit, they photocopied it, and said if there was no damage then the copy would be torn up after the rooms were inspected. after we had left. A bit worrying as you have no control over what they do, and especially as there was damage when we arrived.
There is a steep hill to negotiate up to the apartments, but if you turn left out of the front and take the 2nd street down, then this is the easiest to go up and down.
